Those contracts were under DC though, might be different now?
Yeah true depending on our position, however if we’re midtable I think we should do it. If we’re in relegation then sell in summer. If going promotion then we don’t need to.
That’s my opinion anyway

They may agree things like release clauses etc but I guess I've assumed that was done by others in the club. Could be wrong though!

Yeah me neither I’ve always been of the opinion that it’s the board, but all the anti-DC liked to point out that it was him. Personally I think it’s the board but honestly I have no idea. Perhaps someone who knows more about the subject could shed some light?

Family Enclosure and West Enclosure. It was within the last few yards of his time on the pitch. I think you'll find that was a sarcastic clap as he was getting plenty (I was in the family stand and saw it). yes that's how I saw it, it looked sarcastic to me

Perhaps he was responding to that? I don't know, but how anyone can tell that it was sarcastic I'm not sure either. Perhaps people are seeing what they want to see. Looked genuine to me and would be in keeping with his pre-match comments about what a good time he had in his spell with Rovers.

Football supporters say stupid things. Nothing new there. It was a player who left us for our bitter city rivals, sure they would understand the context. There is no context in that, only stupidity. How can you defend people singing about celebrating an ex players death? Forget the fact we were also celebrating Juniors life ffs. I’m dumbfounded by this. Agree 100%. In fact if I saw Taylor in the street I would apologise for that disgusting chant. It was terrible.

Loved the fiery charged atmosphere all our players gave their all, thought everyone was excellent. Slightly tarnished by the offensive party when you die chant and hearing the abuse of cogs daughter, warning "he s coming for you." Their work ethic in the hot sun was commendable.

I really do understand what you are saying, I looked at it a few times and at first I thought it was genuin but after seeing it a few times I have changed my mind, still it dont really matter he still left us for 1982ltd and left us in the sh** so I dont care either way to be honest and not forgetting he held up a snake trying to take the water with a big grin on his face.

Then if he’s out of contract next season I’d look to move him on in January If you look at mark robbins comments when he joined us and the contracts we have given tony craig, mensah and nichols i reckon he has at least a full year after june 2020. Pretty sure Robbins said life changing contract. I don’t know what the equates to, in monetary terms

Weird posters on this thread saying its ok to sell clarke-harris as long as we get a decent fee. But it wont be reinvested in players anyway so it makes no difference if he goes what we get for him! We sold harrison, bodin and taylor to mediocre championship clubs and lost brown and lockyer to bigger clubs than us but not exactly giants. Thing is under clarke in our first season in league one with a bit of investment in our club we would have been a bottom half championship club and all those players would still be here arguably. Luton town and lincoln city are bristol rovers before someone pulled our ambition plug out of the socket. Be interesting to see what happens with them in the near future.

Taylor out already for at least 4 to 8 weeks, it'll be interesting to see how many games he plays/goals he scores this season. Oxford now seemingly back to relying upon the aging Mackie for goals.

Such a weird injury to get, walking/stood still in the centre circle and just suddenly goes down - suddenly out for up to 8 weeks. Age is catching up with you Matty, probably doesn't help when you're not playing any football 😇

There must be a sink hole somewhere on the pitch that no one has noticed.
