Nichols has always had this ability in him. Kid is a confidence player - a couple of goals and suddenly he’s full steam ahead and firing on all cylinders! As a long time Nichols apologist, I’m delighted for him. You deserve him to come good if you’ve stuck by him this long! |

Poor marking, probably the first mistake from the defence all night
Ah well - Brighton fans said on their forum that this is a banker, certainty of getting through - it wasn’t. We gave them a good fight and let’s be honest their first goal was an absolute fluke, which is testament to our defending.
Nichols & Upson are like new signings - both of them absolutely superb tonight again. Keep it up boys

Almost managed to hang on for penalties but no shame in the result.

Can’t say he’s not wound me up along the way but I’ve always been a big fan of what he adds to the team away from scoring. If he can finally add goals then there’s 100% a good L1 player in there. |

What’s The football like these days? I can’t get a sense of what it is on the radio? Is it still a lot of long ball just with better end product now? |

Brighton are the club we should be looking to emulate.
Similar sized club, similar histories, similar ground issues(They had to play in Gillingham, and The Withdean) etc, etc, etc
New Stadium built, now looking to expand it even further.
Success on the pitch, promotions and winning Football gets the crowds flocking(They are Seagulls of course).
