Gutted to lose but we looked spent towards the end. Had a tough game in the heat on Saturday in which 9 of tonight's 11 started. No shame in that performance or result.

Nearly 6,000. Those who stayed away missed a cracker of a game. Tom Nicholls goal was excellent. Worth the cost of admission on its own.

I’m confident this group of players can compete in league 1, it’s just a shame we didn’t have that extra bit of room in the budget to really build some squad depth in areas.

If you look at the stats we deserved to lose that game but it was cruel to lose it like that. We had them rattled for a bit after Nichols superb goal. Impressed with Jaakkola, Hare, Davies, Ogogo, Upson and Nichols tonight. The turnaround since Coventry is remarkable. Forgotten what it was like to have competition for places up front! Tough call between Nichols and Smith for Burton

Tough call between Nichols and Smith for Burton Yeah with a solid defence and plenty of decent forwards from what I’ve seen so far mid table looks likely. If we could add a top playmaker for this level before the end of the window then maybe even push for top 6 I think the budget is probably gone though. Having said that olly and upson have made a few playmaker type passes this season which isn’t usual for them. |

Upson has looked good in a slightly more advanced role with Ogogo sitting back. Not sure where he played for Yeovil but he scored some important goals for them

Another strong performance. The shambles at Coventry seems a long time ago. Onwards and upwards. KB talked about having restored pride in the shirt which seems a fair observation. What’s The football like these days? I can’t get a sense of what it is on the radio? Is it still a lot of long ball just with better end product now? Id say the first word is combative. It looks attractive when both our strikers are playing well. Ie when Smith and Nichols can find room. It's a little bit unfair to suggest theres no creativity but that seems the obvious question mark. My only concern going forward is whether we have the man power for this formation. We certainly have the wing backs. We might be a centre midfielder light should we get an injury. And I would still like a wide midfielder to take us forward. |

What’s your location or are you using a VPN? I just tried but it gave me the whole due to rights restrictions you cannot watch on your location! The game is not on BeIN Sports either. I’m in Slovakia, no VPN needed Fkc me that’s a bit extreme, just get yourself a VPN. |

Great effort. Felt sorry for the players losing so late but they should be proud of their efforts.
Didn't think I'd be saying this a couple of weeks ago but Nichols should start on Saturday. Looks a different player after his great finish against Oxford. Was excellent tonight and his goal was superb.
Everyone played well and put in a good shift. Just a pity we couldn't hold on for another minute because for some reason I quite fancied us on penalties.
Hopefully we can continue this improved form at Burton.

Great battle in the 2nd half and a very honest performance.
Must admit i thought they ripped us to pieces attacking on their left side and that hare and davies struggled.
