van Stappershoef 6 didn’t honestly do anything wrong, and 1 great save Davies 5 poor today Craig 6 best of the defenders Kilgour 5 had a few mistakes in him Hare 4 poor delivery, not as involved in attack Rodman 5 out of position Ogogo 6 surrounded by some awful midfielders Clarke 4 not involved, or up to speed Leahy 5 passed backwards too often Nichols 6 battled and should have scored Clarke-Harris 9 our only player worthy of his wage today Subs: Bennett 6 wasn’t involved Smith 2 even more lightweight than Nichols Crowd 3 Ref 4 Accrington 5 Clarke not involved?so how do you explain his non involvement in the first goal where he passed to an unmarked rodman to score and hit shot for the second that rebounded to jch to score.i think a lot on here have fallen into the Steve trap of thinking he does nothing when the opposite is true

A slow and shy performance at home. Where was the focus and movement from the Oxford match? Their number 7 mom and we need that sort of attacking creative option..
van Stappershoef 7.5 not at fault with any of the goals.
Davies 6 strong in challenges, messing around goal #2. Craig 6 should have challenged for goal #1. Kilgour 7.5 maturing.
Hare 5 again some well overhit crosses and fouled for goal #3. Rodman 7 goal apart, poor. Ogogo 8 good mid performance. Clarke 5 Ollie can do much better. Leahy 6.5 beaten easily all day by their #7.
Nichols 6.5 one header on target and a couple of tackles won. Clarke-Harris 8 m o m by default and took his goals well.
Subs: Bennett 5.5 ineffective. Smith 5 ineffective.
Crowd 5 numbers dwindling and quiet, probably because no ex c*ty82 players on pitch. Ref 7.5 got most things right including one in the mush. Accrington 6 we should be beating teams like this, but could so easily have lost.

Was often caught too far up the pitch, didn’t have the pace to keep up with their midfield. Failed to shield his defence, failed to offer an option of a pass and failed to move us up a gear (as a captain should)

He started brightly but after falling over trying to cross the ball he faded out the game for long periods.

Nobody has mentioned that he was the closest to their player and totally shied out of a tackle when he ran through to get the penalty. No surprise when he was booked, had already been spoken to twice by the ref for his needless shananagins with their player early in the game.

As soon as we have anyone better i'd gladly take the armband and drop him.

The manager had a close season to sign a midfielder and failed to do so but instead he made clarke captain.the question I ask you and the others is do you think you know better than the manager who has publicly stated he rates him highly and is one of the first names on the team sheet.if so why are you paying to watch a game and not being paid to do so

How do you know either assist was sheer chance I gave him a 4 because he doesn’t look fit. Nothing to do with his ‘unintentional’ assist. We’re a good amount of games in to the season now and he still doesn’t look up to speed for league 1 football - hence the rating of 4.

You are entitled to your opinion but wish you had a mind of your own and not slavishly following steve k.who has an agenda against home grown players preferring journey men who demand high wages for no more ability than those who have come through the academy.why do you think that 14 and 15 year olds prefer to join southampton or Cardiff academies rather than rovers or those that do sign jump ship as soon as they can.its simple they do not get the chance or if they do they are slated by people like you

van Stappershoef 6.5 Looks pretty good.
Davies 5 A bad day at the office. Craig 5 As above Kilgour 4.5 Mistakes and pretty clueless going forward.
Hare 4 Not good defensively or going forward. Rodman 6 Looked ok although he faded. Ogogo 6 Put himself about but made lots of mistakes. Clarke 6 Still not back to his best. Leahy 4.5 Got skinned multiple times.
Nichols 5 Muscled out of the game. Again. Clarke-Harris 8.5 I'm an atheist but I'll get down on my knees and thank any god you like for JCH.
Subs: Bennett 5 Needs to make something happen at some point. Smith 5 See
Crowd 5 Rubbish Ref 6 Accrington 6.5 That number 7 was good.

Think he has been a highlight this season. Time and time again he was stuck looking for a pass forward and there was no one there to play it to. We shouldn’t be relying on our central defenders to create something. Accrington were by far the better team in possession and had players who just strolled straight through our midfield. We are one dimensional, but with the best striker in the league.

I suppose they were all a bit clueless going forward in the second half. Completely agree about his performances this season.

Myself, I would much rather we produce and develop good academy players as it’s the model for a successful team, but you’ve got to be fair and not prefer players simply because of their backgrounds. Surprising opinion that, for someone who “doesn’t have a mind of their own”

The whole point of this thread is to gauge our individual fan's opinion.
Why don't you respect this ??

That was certainly not based on SteveK's opinion, but what I thought he was worth for his overall performance on the day. If anyone cares to check back my entire scores for every player since these ratings started, you will see I am a poster who has consistently been in the middle of Kudos's averages season on season. Before I'm told I don't know anything about football, I have watched the Rovers since I was seven years old and in the late sixties/ seventies played regular football in the Gloucester county league against the likes of Bristol St George, who were by far and away the top side in our area at that time. I for one am quite taken aback at times as to what game others watched, but would never dream of slagging them off over ratings they have given in good faith. I would point out that OC has been one of our lowest scorers in the ratings thread this season. That would suggest to me he has been, and whether a player is home grown or not, it does not add any points to ratings I post or indeed on what others post.
