Great result today and it shows that the same work rate, same patterns of play and the same desire and passion can provide a vastly different result. Thought Nichols was excellent today. Those who are staying away need to come back and support this team. If we carry on the way we are going, provided we keep JCH I reckon we could be play off contenders. I agree with this , I won’t lie , I am one of those that have (painfully) decided to stop attending recently. Like icegas mentioned in an earlier post , GC hasn’t done anything wrong , he’s just taken over from the best manager that I have witnessed at the gas and with nothing substantial happening off the pitch, after all the hope the al-qadis gave after taking over the club , it was never going to be easy for any manager. After listening to GCs post match interview I now genuinely feel quite bad. I will most certainly give it another go and back the manager and the boys , hopefully others feel the same. UTG ! Evolution has taken over a billion years on earth, so why do so many people think it should be any quicker in Bristol. You're all just a bunch of flat earthers!

A very good win that was. We now have a decent (permanent keeper) who is good at this level. Sometimes a lot people expect more from the keepers, but we have a good one for this level. He made two great saves yesterday when it was 1-1. Upson and Ogogo brilliant again. Upson a completely different player to last season but maybe the formation is helping him as he gets a lot more protection so he can get forward. Made some lovely turns on the ball yesterday when under pressure before passing it rather than hitting first time long balls. I hope Sercombe can find a bit of form again as this formation allows him to play in a more natural position. Great to see GC go for it rather than making like of like changes. However, if it had backfired, many people would have been calling him tactically inept again! Last steady keeper before this .. Mildenhall ?

Didn't go yesterday - was Rodman playing wing back in that formation ? Could kelly play RWB ?

This RB position is bloody cursed. Hare & Little both injured - even Rodman picked up an injury as well there. Gutted for Hare, the way he was going he’d be sold to the championship in a couple of years

Gutted for Hare, the way he was going he’d be sold to the championship in a couple of years JCH next with everyone out to get him. That'll be our downfall. We have nowhere near the depth to replace him. I don't think players ever come back the same quality after a long term injury.

I’d tend to agree, although Josh is very young so hopefully his body can recover 100%.

The Al Qadis offered evolution not revolution, so I think they offered hope, but most fans thought that would come a lot quicker. If you look around the squad and the stadium, both are significantly better than when they took over. However, things are still slowly evolving.

The problems (IMO) are: - I know evolution is slow, but I think we all (including the owners) thought it would be faster than this
- It seems that the current owners aren't the ones driving the evolution, rather the potential new owners?

Could kelly play RWB ? he's left footed so a struggle - and is he as mobile as Hare and Leahy ? so I'm not confident about that option.

eh? Well if we define evolution as a new stadium then it might potentially be the new owners doing that, rather than the current?
