If they don’t get enough points to finish outside the bottom three they probably will get relegated. Thanks Michael

The busiest thread today is about man utd.... Quiet news day....
Where's bolders? I would have though a thread about a man going down would be his territory....

They signed Daniel James a player with outstanding pace and don't play in a way to utilise this. A slow ponderous build up giving sides plenty of time to get behind the ball and no chance of playing in James behind them. If they played at speed on the counter James would have a field day. Reminds me of Liverpool signing a player like Ricky Lambert and totally not playing to a way that suited him. No wonder he failed there.

They have been relegated before, so why not again?

I couldn’t give a toss, plastic fake football, they have assisted in ruining the game.

steady on old boy, can't stand the sh1t but better than supporting utd from your armchair, oh and my link to arsenal is thru London parents and believe me following arsenal thru the 80s was hard going. Averaging 5th in the top flight must have been hell. Far from hell the football, but all the aggro off the pitch made for some right twitchy bum moments, at old trafford, west ham and oh yeah home to millwall 88, mental day and glad to get back to paddington, thats the station not the bear before anyone asks.

Persisting with the likes of Ashley Young could well lead to relegation. Takes all their corners/freekicks etc and has not got a decent one in him from what I saw last night and previously this season. I don't think they will be relegated but OS is hardly pulling up trees as their manager, looked totally lost on the touchline yesterday and it would appear he exhausted the new manager bounce when he achieved 8/9 away wins on the bounce last season and has now gone 10 without a win since. Their fans thought HM was a poor manager, I wonder what they are thinking now. Young is one of the dirtiest players around. A lot of his tackles are x-rated. There are plenty of parallels there with relegation zone teams. Playing players out of position being one of them. You end up with players who lose their self-confidence and are afraid to make mistakes, which of course leads to static football like us under Clarke last season. They'll have a few injured players back against Pool, but the way Pogba is playing at the moment I can't see it making any difference.

Who actually cares if they do get relegated?

They need to promote a lad called James Garner who is top quality and a future international. Also give Brandon Williams more game time as he is class. Couldn't do any worse than the likes of Fred and Young!

I couldn’t give a toss, plastic fake football, they have assisted in ruining the game. I agree.I watched some of there fan match reviews on You tube yesterday, its truely shocking how they are being hard done by and are the best fans in the world! All said in there Somali,African or south of England accents! Glory seeking plastics! Only supported them as they were the best.Same goes for Liverpoo,Man city,Arsenal ,Chelsea fans.

Where's Denis Law when you need him? Law's goal didn't actually send United down, they were already down. The narrative does make the story better though...
