It's been quite obvious since Nichols joined us that he is incapable of kicking the ball with any venom. Just turn up early for a game and watch the pre-match kick ins and you will see for yourself.
Young Smith has shown he has a far more powerful shot than Nichols will ever have.

Just free and now popped onto the matchday thread. Have to agree that penalty was very poor, but it's also very poor the way OTT reactions from most on here. Like a bunch of kids.
His goalscoring record has not been good enough, not by a long way. We've all seen that he can do well when his confidence is up, but he's too much of a confidence player and it's a vicious cycle for him. He'll do better at his next club I feel. However, some of the reactions like "get the c*nt out" and words to that effect are just childish.
My opinion of course.
Hopefully we can come back and get something from the game nonetheless.

I'm **** fuming as well! Trust Nichols to * up my record. It was so awful, as I said at the start of this thread.....He couldn't even hit JR and he's already dead!
