Really glad I’m unable to go as this would make me much worse. We have been poor at home in the games I’ve been to, I missed 2. We are just not a good side and have been hiding this up with JCH getting us out of the dung.
Still, hope we make a good fightback and win this game. Plenty of time yet

Looking at the team and wondering where the goals are going to come from. It’s rare that we score from set pieces but that looks our only hope.

I guess the last two games show we're just as poor as we were under DC but JCH's goals have covered over the cracks, we're paying the penalty for a woeful summer in the transfer market.

Bolton are only bottom because they started on -12 points , playing a bunch of kids. They are definitely not the worst team in this division.

The football is dull, but I also think GC is very limited with attacking options. Our strengths are in defence, so we play to that. We can all say we want to see Moore in the side, but the coaches and GC are the ones who work with him in training and if he’s not ready for proper football then so be it. Having said that, would he be any less likely to score than Nichols? Smith looks ok against the kids in the JPT but he doesn’t look ready for league one. JCH needs help. |

Kelly hasn’t got close to his man once tonight.
This is as bad as anything I have seen in the last few years.
So frustrating ...
Can only hope Coughlan is man enough to admit he got selection wrong and makes the necessary changes.
Clarke/ Nichols and Kelly off for me ... the first two I wouldn’t bring back any time soon.

Shocking first half. Playing into their hands. Bolton playing at pace with dangerous players running at us. We should be trying to pass it round or at least run at them. No plan B and plan A has been worked out. 7 defensive players.
Hopefully game of attrition 2nd half

One of those games where a couple of substitutions at half time is called for.
Kelly is making their right winger look world class and Clarke and Nichols seem to be playing a competition of who can give the ball away the most.
Only Ogogo comes out of that half with any credit for me, the rest of the team just look shot of any confidence or ability. Lucky to be only 1-0 down.
