Where did I say I was happy about it? It is a bit silly to attempt to attach wording like that to someone else when there is no evidence to the contrary. Now, I've given a very short assessment of each of those labels, and how it would be virtually impossible to re-claim that money, so in reality it is a false figure isn't it? Not much of a 'scandal' eh? Your outrage at 34 billion not being collected is just wrong isn't it? You seem very keen to show that tax evasion is not a problem compared with benefit fraud which implies you are happy with the tax not being collected. Even with the breakdown you listed the 5.3 billion is almost 3 time the amount lost via benefit fraud. So yes it is a scandal. and no my 'outrage' as you call it is not wrong. It seems that your world view is very different to mine and I doubt you would change your opinion on anything even when the evidence hits you in the face. No wonder this country is going down the pan - 5 more years of the Tories screwing us all is just too much to contemplate. First off I have never said that tax evasion is not a problem, and I have not once compared it to benefit fraud. The 5.3bn for tax evasion will probably never be recovered. Some may be, but the reality is that most will not. Tax Evasion has always happened, and it will still happen, every year, so the figure of 5.3bn is a pointless one. The 5.3bn never really existed and probably never will, can't you understand that? It's like saying 500m a year is lost because prostitutes don't charge/pay VAT. In reality, nobody has 'lost' 500m quid have they? It's just a finger in the air figure, just like the 5.3bn for tax evasion because if they knew where the tax evasion had happened to reach that figure, they'd be able to either take the people/companies to court or get the money back ! It's a made up number.

nobby, I've never read so much false narrative than that which you write on here. Honestly, Oldie and stuart have called you out on this many a time before but I reckon if we reposted all the debunked falsehoods and speculative opinion sold as fact by you on this thread it would fill a new thread of at least 20 pages. As for calling people terrible(!) names you seem to have forgotten calling people tossers and telling them to f**k off. Selective memory? Above all else though nobby, I personally find your commentary on life in the UK and on leaving the EU underwhelming on account of the fact you dont actually live in the UK and instead live in an EU country. If the pound crashes, your money is going to be worth a little more over here no? Honestly, I'm not sure that even if I tried I could muster up even an ounce of enthusiasm about what a confirmed Tory supporters thinks of me. I do agree that it’s ironic that someone can support Brexit so vocally when they don’t even live here and won’t have to experience the consequences (although I’m sure I saw nobby say he had a house somewhere). That being said nobby is a smart guy for not being part of this in the first place. When Brexit happens I’ll be applying for a German and/or Polish passport and it would be smart for everyone else who has access to dual nationality to do the same. Better to be on the outside looking in. They have already announced the end of freedom of movement for British citizens. It’s like on a horror film when the people in the spooky mansion find all the doors are locked and they can’t escape the chainsaw wielding maniac. They are locking as many of us in as possible so no-one can escape when the sh** hits the fan. Eh, what? End of freedom of movement for British Citizen's? Who announced this?

To me it's pretty clear that Boris has had a terrible campaign, and in different times would have been totally discredited for his refusal to be interviewed on several occasions, his fibs, his mistakes and his loose understanding of the numbers and policies in his own manifesto. I sometimes wonder if he's ever bothered to read it. If I were a Leaver, I would be thinking: a) He's let us down by reducing his promise of leaving without compromise to a watered down mish mash of some sort of BRINO. b) Rees-Mogg must have been paid off with the promise of a hefty cabinet job to agree to disappear and keep quiet whilst the farce continues. c) Thank f*ck the opposition are so poor this time round that they cannot expose him for the shallow entitled chancer that he is. Come on, Leavers. You know it's true. He's a disaster, but he's the best disaster you have. He's going to win, so that's OK. But I still think he won't win a majority. a) I agree that Johnson's deal is just BRINO. I'd be happier with a Clean Brexit. It'll concentrate minds on both sides instead of limping along with this useless WA. b) For some reason there are many 'senior' politicians who have basically disappeared during this campaign. For the Tories not only JRM but Gove has been very quiet. For Labour Starmer has gone AWOL. He is their Brexit guy yet we've heard not a peep from him. The same for Abbott. Yevette Cooper, that bastion of Remain has gone AWOL. There are loads from both sides. c) and that is the point. The opposition are just to bad to contemplate.

You know this So, the British Government has announced the end of Freedom of Movement for British people have they? In the past, when travelling to the EU you had to show your passport. What has changed?

Jesus Christ, just more media nonsense. Do these media people think they have the right to just jump in and speak to someone whenever they feel like it? Johnson was obviously doing something, yet this prat of a reporter thinks that talking to GMB is more important. Now, you spin this to make Johnson look bad? So the reporter was told to feck off. Big deal. Maybe he was security and you cannot really expect just anyone to walk up the the PM at any time. Get a grip people. You are just aiding this nonsense because the fact you have reacted to this and posting about it proves just that ! You all moan about lies and disinformation from both sides yet by your actions you encourage it ! FFS.

It's a made up number. Nobby With due respect, that's a false analogy. The true reality is, perhaps, VAT. As business owners turning over more than the prescribed minimum we are obliged to charge the going rate of vat on all sales and complete a VAT return. Now we could falsely report our sales, Tax Evasion, over state our costs, Tax Evasion. The difference is our auditors would catch the latter and the former would only work in a cash deal or false invoicing. In otherwords, its recoverable. Comparing that to suggesting its comparable to criminals not paying VAT on the income they gain from that activity is just daft...laughable even. Tax evasion is fraud by it's very nature. It's an offence and should be prosecuted. But to do that trained resources are required, which you will not get by cutting resources in HMRC and the Police. The exact thing the Tories have done since 2010.

Are you seriously suggesting that when we end the right for EU citizens to move here, live here and work here without any restriction of whatever nature, the EU will not apply the same rules to UK citizens trying to do the very same thing within the EU?

Who gives a feck about GMB? Morgan should never hold any position on television. He is directly responsible for British troops being killed in Iraq. To be totally honest, and I really am quite a mild mannered person, if I ever met him face to face I would not hesitate. I'd deck him.

What do British people have to do differently now as opposed to a year ago?

British troops were killed and many wounded following his false claims and photos on the front page of the Daily Mirror when he was the Editor.........read that again, troops died. Maybe you should direct your 'oh dear' comment at the families of those involved and see what their reaction would be. He should have never been allowed onto television.

Just to remind everyone This what we are very much in danger of waking up to Friday morning Oh god.....Jonathan Pie? You do realise that this is just satire don't you? and you all still moan about lies and disinformation etc, yet you all encourage it! You all encourage this media nonsense. When they see how many 'likes' or 'retweets' or 'hits' they've got then for them, it's working. You are all feeding the very monster you complain about.

Far be it for me to defend assertions made in the press, other than their right to make them in a free society. It's the use of or the advocacy of, violence as retribution that I aim my comment of "Oh dear"
