Oh..and a liar General election: Almost every Tory ad is dishonest, compared to none of Labour’s, research finds flip.it/04KD-6Talked about on the last page, old news. So I'll ask again, why is the only Labour advert featured in this article claiming that the NHS will pay 500m quid a week to US drug companies? We all know this is a lie. With just that one point it proves that the zero% claim for Labour is false !

No no, your anti-tory canvassing efforts on here over the past few months (year) are the ones to be applauded. I mean you must have changed, um, no-one's minds?
Roll on tomorrow! Was never of a mind that I had that ability. Just stating my opinion and where I can backing that up with reports, research and / or known facts. But as you are a poor misguided soul, as a Tory supporter, I am flattered that you feel the need to respond to me. Looking forward to the "Free Market Debate" post election where I am sure you will wish to share your knowledge of such.

With just that one point it proves that the zero% claim for Labour is false ! It's a stupid claim and I wish everyone was more honest about it. My understanding of the drugs issue is that drugs still within patent are far more expensive in the States than the UK. However post patent drugs (generic) are far cheaper in the States than the UK. So there us a deal to be done, as long as we do not forgo the ability of NICE to control what we want, do or dont do. It's got eff all to do with selling the NHS. The debate should concentrate on what its underfunding has done to health care in this country.

Roll on tomorrow! I think we are all old enough to realise that trying to change someone’s mind over this particular election is an impossible task so I’m sure people are venting rather than canvassing. People want what they want and are seriously entrenched in extremes with no compromise to be had. Very much reflective of parliament at the moment. Who in this thread *has* changed their mind from how they were going to vote before the election cycle started? I bet the answer to that question is most likely “no-one”. Maybe oldie and Stuart. I’ve vacillated but have gone back to who I was going to choose 4 weeks ago. Edit: I guess a better question would be who has changed their actual intention? Because people’s desired outcome has probably not changed at all but the party they vote for might based on a tactical vote to better ensure their intended outcome.

So today Liar Johnson hides from the media in a fridge. He still refuses the Neil interview. What on earth could he have to hide?
Are people still going to vote for a party led by this weak, uncaring, complete idiot? Surely the British people are smarter than that?

I think the British public are smart enough to realise that a Labour government led by Corbyn would be a complete and utter disaster. I'd even suggest that Corbyn wouldn't even last a couple of months as PM. Win or lose they'll replace him pretty sharpish.

Oh God, another one who jumps when the media frenzy tells him to. Johnson did not 'hide in a fridge'. He was visiting a diary, and that fridge building was where they store the milk which he was helping to carry out (photo op). Yep, another one feeding the media nonsense. You do realise that as long as you react and believe stories like this it'll never end?

It would be interesting to see how that £2 compares with the standard inflation as per the CPI And that Tory unemployment figure doesn’t include people on zero hours contracts (that the Tories introduced) who might not be doing any work. Also aren’t we more in debt now than we were under Labour despite 10 years of austerity (seemingly) ‘just for fun’? ‘Lies, damn lies and statistics’, as they say...

The true comparative number is 2007, ten years after labour were elected. The budget deficit was £9 billion. That was after raising health spending by 2% of gdp. After 9 years of austerity and chronic UNDERFUNDING the Tory deficit is £32billion (Nobby in his usual attention to detail lists that as 2019, which is strange as that fiscal year is not over) More bollux from the right wing, and they wonder why we laugh at them.

Facts old boy, facts. The deficit in 2010, when the Tories took over, was 153.5 billion. Of course the debt will grow as the deficit is gradually reduced. If you take over a borrowing requirement of 153.5 billion, and you reduce the borrowing by 10 billion, you'll still need to borrow 143.5 billion the next year, so yes, the debt does rise, and will continue to rise until the deficit is zero or less. 25 rip roaring years in the city? This is basic economics.

As I contend, the like for like comparison is 2007 after 10 years of Blair / Brown. The budget deficit was £9billion. After increasing health care spending by 2% of gdp. Facts my dear boy, facts. I know thats an anathema to you and your ilk.
