GC is an enigma. People should never write him off.
Certainly got it right it today. Not just because of the result of course, but in making some changes and mixing it up.
These days the game is dominated by analysts and you have to change things around at times, even if just to keep the oppo and their plans on their toes. Look at today's rugby; the perfect example of sport dominated by analysts, info, game plans and better communications making a huge impact on sport.

Great result. We were seriously under pressure for the last 20 minutes which seemed to drag on forever but we defended well and came away with a hard earned win. UTG!

When he got injured I certainly wouldn’t have turned my nose up at 7 points from 5 games, especially as we had some tough fixtures. We are capable of even more when he’s fit and firing, strap yourselves in because we are in for a good season imo. |

Why oh why do we always concede right on half time. We’re sh** at closing out the half Spot on ... poor time to give away and has happened a few times now. Legendary GC team talk at half time and it’s 2-2 before the hours up. Please God he tells them to keep attacking and not defend deeper and deeper . This game is far from Over yet. I don’t think we have failed to win a game after establishing a 2 goal lead since we were promoted back into the football league.Close call today but some achievement though. |
