Great result today. Also good to see Bolton beat Fleetwood. At least we're not the only team to lose to them now!
To be fair... Bolton now have Daryl Murphy, Liam Bridcutt, Jack Hobbs, Chris O'Grady, Will Buckley, Jake Wright, Jason Lowe with a lot of Championship experience. How are Bolton able to afford them?
No debt ?

Great result today and we certainly had to dig deep in the second half to hold on. In other news...MK Dons part company with Paul Tisdale after 8 defeats in 9 games. Were they not in the top ten fancied teams to go up at the start of the season ? It's a funny old game . www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50277858Really? Wow. Just about sums them up. 12 years at Exeter City and they give him barely more than 12 months, despite a promotion.

Don't think they want to go back down again - judging by their results in the last 2 months and the way they played against us - they're heading down with Southend, and probably Bolton.

Think MK Dons have had awful injuries and have had no forwards except Bowery who had a good 20 mins against us. Agard was back today before getting sent off. I know it’s a results business but seems a bit harsh. I think Tisdale is a manager who builds a squad and team over time, which he hasn’t been given. Not too sure if he’s the type to take over and make an immediate difference. UTG!

MK are an ungrateful club who don’t know half the struggles of what it means to be a proper football league club.
They won’t find many better gaffers than tisdale in this league and it’s not as if he’s got the budget to sign a team of a division beaters either.

GC appears to ride his luck atm...it's a great result at Rochdale, fair play, but we are doing it with half a strike force. A brilliant move from gc to mix it up and change formation and personnel, other managers might call it a project change, but this was a change with focus and vision as it worked early on.. True grit has ground out 4 points in two matches where we could easily had none. It's the Rovers spirit to progress through adversity, and we are touching distance of play off place. How many would have thought that back in August? Well done, gc and his management team. Your right, you have to admire the man. He treats every game as a new project. I don't think new projects are going down too well in some parts of west midlands..

Several references in this thread to German football.Sunday Times tells today of a bizarre story where a player called Michael Eberwein was warming up as sub for a Bundesliga second div side called Holstein Kiel who were playing VFL Bochum. He was warming up behind the goal when he stopped a shot from a player called Ganvoula M'Bussy from going out before it had actually crossed the line.He got booked,Bochum were given a penalty.M'Bussy scored and Bochum won 2-1.So he conceeded a penalty and got a yellow card without coming onto the pitch. You couldn't make it up? ?
