1) we didn’t lose this time 2) were doing alright in the league 3) the abuse some are giving Coughlan from the east terrace from 10 mins in you’d think we were bottom of the league 4) yes it was sh** 5) do we really need to act like it’s the end of the world? Let’s get some perspective. Personally. Our performance as a club today reflected our performance as supporters. It’s hard to get excited about an FA cup game against a non league club but perhaps that’s why our players didn’t play so well today as they are guilty of the same. You need to give respect to lower league clubs in the cup or you’ll get put in your place and that goes for out supporters as much as our players and coaching staff Quite rich for someone so damning about DC's Walsall drawing at home to a non league side also. Some would say hypocritical. Actually I’d have said similar after a cup disappointment during the D.C. era. One game doesn’t make a season, which is why I’m still a fervent supporter of what he did during his time in charge. I also said I hoped we’d do better without D.C. owing to his record in the cup. This still can be achieved despite some who you’d imagine we’re hoping we would lose just to have a pop at GC with a semblance of validity. As I said in my last post context is everything and the abuse GC gets when a solitary win could see us move up to joint 3rd is outrageous. Feel for the bloke because nothing he can do is right according to some. There were chants on the east terrace calling for him to quit because of 80 mins of poor football when we’re having our best season statistically in at least 10 possibly 20 odd years?

No-one except non-league clubs give a toss about the FA Cup anymore. Not even L1/L2 managers, players and fans. It's a shrunken relic of what it once was. I feel like you say that because we haven’t had a cup run in ages. Would you still feel the same if we had reached the 5th round of the FA cup and attracted national coverage in doing so?

We set up 4-4-2 but played with zero width. Ridman and sercombe hardly ever got down the wings , the full backs hardly ever looked to overlap , all our play was in front of Bromley and they lapped it up. When we had the ball in the middle we tried to play it through the middle rather than looking to switch the play , I just don’t think 442 can work very well without a creative player who can spread the play or any good wingers. Crap performance, although I thought there was as much chance of us losing as winning today so I’m not surprised. God know why we've reverted to 442. I hoped we'd seen the last of it with the current squad after the Coventry debacle.

We were poor today, fair play to Bromley and their fans who were up for it. If we play to the level we can we should beat them in the replay. Frustrating how inconsistent we are this season. Good to see JCH back, onwards and upwards UTG

I think cus Davies is injured. You'd think Menayese could have slotted in against Bromley though!

How long was JCH on for? Did he look fit?
Was Tom's cameo enough to convince a Conference team that he's worth a loan in the January window?

At least Nichols return retained possession of the ball and did a delightful though ball to JCH which he would behave scored from earlier in the season. Smith on the other hand may as well have not bothered. I just can't understand how with two wide players the only crosses from the wings still came from our full backs.

Just read they played with ten??? Why/how? In the last 20 minutes one of their players got injured and they had already used all 3 subs.

That's when Clifton, who only came on after 62 mins, eventually went off injured so he was subbed off w/o being replaced by another sub. Can anybody understand why Jaaki flapped at the cross, why didn't he just catch the damn ball? Although not sure how they managed to get 3 players around him seemingly unmarked when they were down to 10 men.
