Although not sure how they managed to get 3 players around him seemingly unmarked when they were down to 10 men. Poor marking from Lockyer as usual, he was nowhere to be seen today

Bromley down to 10 - player injured after using all subs This post from rod was done when at 1-1..... I posted when I spotted it on the BBC live text - on 82 minutes. They equalised just after, but effectively it was 1-1 by the time I posted I think. Can't see how it was 20 minutes to go, unless someone is adding the 8 minutes to go, plus the 7 of injury time, and rounding up a bit

Guess it sort of counts as ten-and-half men for that period as he wasn't doing much. From memory, it was when Tom Nichols fell over and comically rolled into the back of his leg. According to the BBC live text that foul was on 69 minutes.

Second round draw tomorrow 7 pm on BBC2 Anyone but the sh**, wouldn't them to humiliate us. They don’t come into it until the 3rd round but their performances since 2007, whilst in the Championship has been as pathetic as ours. I believe they’ve only progressed to the 4th round on 2 occasions; going out in what would be their 1st round of the tournament every other time. We’ve certainly had our embarrassing days in losing to non league sides but they still managed to lose to the mighty Crawley.

Quite rich for someone so damning about DC's Walsall drawing at home to a non league side also. Some would say hypocritical. Actually I’d have said similar after a cup disappointment during the D.C. era. One game doesn’t make a season, which is why I’m still a fervent supporter of what he did during his time in charge. I also said I hoped we’d do better without D.C. owing to his record in the cup. This still can be achieved despite some who you’d imagine we’re hoping we would lose just to have a pop at GC with a semblance of validity. As I said in my last post context is everything and the abuse GC gets when a solitary win could see us move up to joint 3rd is outrageous. Feel for the bloke because nothing he can do is right according to some. There were chants on the east terrace calling for him to quit because of 80 mins of poor football when we’re having our best season statistically in at least 10 possibly 20 odd years? I would suggest it has been a lot more than 80 mins of poor football despite the statistics, we have endured some real dour stuff recently!

It was grim but credit to Bromley for showing the fight and will to win. They enjoyed their equaliser. Still hopeful we can win the replay

That shambles today was a pitiful as it comes when it comes commitment to the game, shame on you Rovers
and as for the two comedians in our midfield, Upson and Ogogo.... i'm sure Laurel and Hardy could have done better

No-one except non-league clubs give a toss about the FA Cup anymore. Not even L1/L2 managers, players and fans. It's a shrunken relic of what it once was. It’s so sad but I think you’re right. Back in the day looked forward to the cup. Now everyone seems to see it as an obstacle not as something to care for. Looking this afternoon, even at Chippenham there were large gaps on the terraces (well, the terraces they had anyway). Unfortunately I think TV has saturated fans with football, now a live game isn’t so much of an event. UTG!

Very much looking forward to the replay in London. The Plastic pitch will be a tricky assignment, no doubt the live cameras will be present but hopefully we’ll have to much for them and avoid the upset that BBC/BT etc...will be begging for.

Today's performance would not suggest "we will have to much for them".

They will be too tired from their day jobs. Can we make them play it on grass ?, just not fair.

Today's performance would not suggest "we will have to much for them". So by that rationale, there’s no point attending the rest of the season as every performance will be identical to today. Interesting.

Interesting. Where did I say about the rest of the season? Merely pointing out that as we did not " have to much for them" today, we will have to vastly improve to beat them on their own patch.

Well, that's 99 minutes of my life that I won't get back.
Why oh why can't we play against non- league sides in the cup?

Punching above our weight in the league as we are or entertaining football but propping up the table like Southend are? We're getting the results, the odd blip aside! If we weren't blipping we'd be up there with Ipswich and Wycombe.
