Their manager thought they dominated??! I thought it was a scrappy game with little chances at either end and a draw was a fair result.

He sounds very much like that oaf who managed Totton back in 2011/12. Talking absolute nonsense the entire pre match interview, hopefully we can replicate that afternoon and also score 3 goals in 4mins!

A free pint for all home fans before the replay! Unfortunately not so welcoming to our fans. Strict segregation, no early entry to the ground, no access to bars, van-type catering only, and an uncovered away terrace. Very disrespectful of fellow football fans. Where do they think they are? The Mem or something?? Bromley Tickets

All that matters is the final score. Looking at bbc match stats it is not unusual for a team with the largest possession percentage actually lose the game. In fact, some teams are set up to cede possession to their opponents and then catch them on the breakaway.

You could see the guy fancied himself as a poor man's Klopp or Guardiola.

When you see the ground you'll realise it's not set up for large away support. Their is only one permanent bar and thats in the home end. This was built before segregation became necessary.
As somebody said earlier Bromley have only spent a brief time at this level and the team is presently considerably further advanced than the ground, even worse for away fans.
It will off course come in time. I can assure you you are not unwelcome by the club or the crowd (we have some idiots like all clubs), but the facilities at the ground appear unwelcoming. I am 100% certain the club have an attitude to change this but without huge investment this can only happen in time.
Really enjoyed my trip to Bristol by the way. Met some thoroughly decent people.

Seen in black and white it might come over as being a bit disrespectful but from the Bromley post above perhaps it’s just common sense. I mean not everyone has facilities like the Mem.😉 Even if half of our following were to go in then it would be swamped, so perhaps it’s understandable. UTG!

We had loads of the ball on Sunday , but it was mostly our defenders passing to our midfielders who haven’t got any creativity so they passed it back to our defenders, who then passed it to a full back who passed it in to midfield who then went back to Craig who then blasted it a foot above smiths head. Possession but crap possession because we lack a creative midfielder to make possession work.

Oh and what was the goalkeeper doing, playing negative defensive football by throwing the ball out wide to the full backs??

I guess, like us, they have no alternative to the uncovered part but the rest is very poor yet we were made very welcome when we were in the conference/Vanarama for the one season. They obviously aren’t thinking about the extra revenue but, as you rightly says, could be our place 😉
