I won’t be going not because I’m worried about being a scab (i have done in previous seasons) but because the football in this tournament and stadium atmosphere doesn’t draw me in.

Hopefully it'll be two 'B teams' Then watch the EFL sweat as they try to give away 40,000 free tickets to school kids! Don’t knock it. The free ticket formula has helped the England women to sell out Wembley 😮

What areas of the ground are open tonight? You're going? Fair shout to you fella. I have to let you know, BBC weather is showing warnings for heavy rain from 5pm.

Thinking about it but the weather could be the key factor. I don’t mind the lack of atmosphere at these games, reminds me of watching reserve games years and years ago. Also less of a queue for a pasty if they can be bothered to open up all the food outlets!

I think there will be such a small attendance tonight that Lance will read out the names of the people in the crowd to the players rather than the other way round.

Having the PL under 23s teams in it is making it a complete joke. Even the National league have come up with a better idea, Mixing it with Scottish opposition. (although that is Rangers kids). That means different teams to see. Should have done that here.

The Challenge Cup would go down a lot better with Colt teams taken out, potentially a British Challenge Cup would go down very well without u23/Colt teams.

Burton 485 walsall 621 bradford 761 cheltenham 774 crawley 412 morecambe 802 port vale 571 Some of tonight's games and like our last match in the competition some matches with no attendance figure. You do have to wonder if there is any point or use for this competition. Ps i am not someone who has boycotted the competition. I would also add that the FA cup attendances were dreadful, not helped by the stupid sunday lunch time kick offs. What will our attendance be tomorrow and will the club even announce the crowd figure? I think our crowd will be higher than all those.

We would have killed to play a jpt game against under 23 opposition when we were in the conference. It’s all about priorities I guess... Why would we? I’d rather play in the non league cup against actual teams, rather than a premier league experiment.

Is this going to form the Match Thread as well?
We should let them borrow Kyle Bennett for a couple of hours to nullify their attacking threat!

Our attendance was 1083 according to sky sports which means we were the only side with over 1k attendance.
