4 weeks on The club has communicated * all and we have no idea what is going on with the stadium, sainsburys , club review or recruitment for next season. Are the board arrogant, clueless or just plain lazy ?
Or are my expectations too high ?

i'm getting a bit nervous now....
we haven't done sh** all, and other clubs are moving quick....
I feel that the most badly prepared season ever is about to embrace....
but i really hope i'm fkn wrong....

I feel the same, Rookie manager, no scout, no dof, no assistant manager, no confirmed budget. Hopefully its just anxiety

We will be ok we have a bod who have reviewed themselves, all are doing a fantastic job. A manager that cries in public and went to the same charm school as Paul Buckle, a squad of players who deserve to be in the conference but the bod can't face it. We are the best run club in the country!
I'm far more angry now than after the Mansfield game, all I can say is we better make a good start to the season

Christ its the the harbingers of doom in here. We are going in to a new season with a new squad and one of the best budgets of the league. I'm looking forward to winning a few games at least this season. Yes things need to change but what if they do?

But at the present moment in time our board have no clue what league we are in, what budgets are in place for which league, rather than holding their hands up and saying we got it wrong in not sacking Ward in October and we are here let's get on with it and aim for promotion, they are chasing a loosing battle in Wycombe. Just because we have been relegated doesn't mean we will win more games, all the info coming out of the club is negative, I see another struggle unless they act fast |

You must have applied for membership of the Conference Premier and done the paperwork otherwise either the General Manager or the Chairman of the Conference would have gone public on that by now. I wouldn't know about the rest of it. They tend, unlike the Football League, to go public at the drop of the proverbial hat.

Hoping for some positive news today and hopefully that rumoured signing or 2. Ditto. We need SOMETHING to be encouraged by! If Clarke wants his squad sorted by the end of this month, then we need to start sorting out deals quickly. |

The only fans who have a voice or something to say are those that want to slate the BOD. The longer we go without hearing even a shred of something to give us hope makes people who say the Board don't have a clue look right.
No news is NOT good news.

I have always seen myself as a bit of a rose tinter but I, and a couple I know of a similar persuasion to me, are getting more and more disillusioned. Whilst I think we all appreciate that if this top to bottom review/investigation/what ever you want to call it is to be done properly then it will take time, surely it cannot be that difficult to provide an update to fans as to what on earth is going on. It has all gone scarily quiet and the BoD are in danger of alienating even more fans with this current wall of silence and lack of news, and at a time where we really need to all pull together if we are to get out of the mess we find ourselves in. |

Patience needed guys. DC is back from his hols this week and there is now clarity regarding income from the Rickie Lambert transfer.
Expect plenty of news and excitement over the next couple of weeks
