From the highlights the first pen looks clear cut and pretty poor play by Ogogo as Mayor was really going nowhere, the second one looks like a tug back by Rollin outside the area, I can't see any offence was committed inside the area as, typical for Moore, he just fell over rather than attempt to score. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/50624447

A quick player who is good with the ball at his feet. However he seems to be continuing the Plymouth number 10 tradition of throwing himself down in the area looking for penalties. That arsehole Carey did it on a regular basis and conned a couple of pens against us, especially down there. This twat was doing the same. What I don't understand is, if he throws himself down and doesn't get the pen, then the ref has seen no offence and should therefore yellow card the forward for simulation. If he ref had booked for his first piece of cheating then he probably wouldn't have tried the 2nd dive. If he did and had been booked for the first, then a second yellow and f**k off. Because the ref bottled it, he was almost bound to give a pen for the 3rd dive, which he probably wouldn't have attempted either if he was already on a yellow. This constant cheating must be something advocated and encouraged by Scottish managers. A shame really because you know they'll try the same in the replay having got away with it today.s to hat his manager must be encouraging not I said he was worrying me before he got the pen. This is my argument with this, is that the percentage call is strongly in favour of diving and trying to deceive the referee. The potential reward has a much greater probability of being given than the potential punishment. Yeah he was mobile and clever. I said to my lad he would eventually get a pen because the ref wasn't taking any action against him. What I find sad is it the fact that his manager must be encouraging and condoning this cheating. I can't imagine GC standing for it, and if one of our players tried it on he would be the target in an after match arse-kicking competition.

Ipswich Vs Coventry - Standard L1 match Boston Vs Rochdale - Not exactly ‘shock’ material Hartlepool Vs Exeter - Really? Plymouth Vs Rovers - West Country affair, L1 Vs L2, big crowd, spicey atmosphere
I guess it will all come down to which match is competing for the biggest third round tie.

I make it Rollin, OC and Kilgore all now suspended for the replay. With Kilgore picking up a needless yellow/suspension for decent after the penalty.
Little can play right central defence but struggling for the left side unless Davies is fit.

Surely they will all have 1 match bans as Rollin was adjudged to have been the last man and the other two were for an accumulation of cards.

Yellow cards are competition specific, so Alfie K is suspended for the next FA Cup game for two yellows in the FA Cup. Ollie is suspended for the Southend game for 5 yellows in the league (today was his first in the FA Cup I think - if it was his second he will also miss the replay) If I've understood the new rules correctly, Rollin will miss the next 1st team game for his red today which is the EFL Trophy game v Orient (I posted earlier I thought he would miss the Southend game - only because I'd forgotten about the tin pot match).

Very bad decision by FA to give a referee who has only had five league games experience in charge of today's game. Plymouth made a terrible back pass which was not pulled up and some bizarre decisions. Ref spoiled the game giving two penalties which were definitely not and sent off a kid for what! A lot of protesting in the Thatchers regarding the 'back pass' but none on the pitch. TBH I think the player was clever enough to knee it rather than kick it back. Credit where credit is due. (I hate saying that)

As red/yellow cards don't count in the EFL Trophy for league/other cup games does it work vice versa?

You're correct hopefully the FA won't review the red and then reduce it to a yellow as that would then he'd miss the replay rather than a game he could well be rested for in any event! The rules changes are really baffling.

Thought so at the time and even more so watching the replays. Very poor.

Thought fa cup and League bookings are the same. Thought only European competitions were different?? It does change every now and again though.

If Ogogo had kept his hands to himself he wouldn't have given the ref the option to blow, that was the third appeal so I guess pressure was building on an inexperienced ref. Rollin"s was wise enough to commit his foul outside the area, not that it mattered!

Why bother posting this Daniel w/o checking, the rules changed this summer, I assume to favour the big boys who enter at R3.
