Oh great, being saved for Tuesday? I guess we won our last away game without him.

On the plus side, seeing he keeps getting all these injuries no one will touch him with a barge pole in January.

Let’s hope we see a good performance today. Ipswich nor been a lucky ground. But as we not played them for years, then anything can happen.

I have been following Rovers for 45 years this is the first time I can remember us being in a top of the table clash with Ipswich Town (their website refers to us as high flying Bristol Rovers), although we have been higher in the league than now on several occasions, it shows just how far we have come in the past few years. Happy with any result for us.

Surely not injured again? We deff need another striker in the next transfer window. Times like this we really need Nichols to start hitting the back of the net.

Been saying to long. But we need another player who can score 15 or more goals to supplement Clarke-Harris and when he’s not playing.

I dont think he has been match fit all season. After missing pretty much all of pre season he got injured again just as he was getting his sharpness back. Hopefully he’s not injured again but GC is just taking it easy with him.

looked up on web sites can find no mention of Clarke - Harris injured, but do agree we need an experienced striker to partner him/stand in for him. Doyle on loan at Swindon would do for me .

If we start in the same fashion as we did against Southend then Ipswich will be out of sight by half time and we will be on the end of an absolute battering , if we can just keep it tight and not make any silly mistakes I think then , we might just surprise them ! Good luck boys , UTG !!!!!

Must be something about the double barrelled, JCH and THD both more likely to be on the treatment table rather than the match day squad. When you think Matthews has been out all season and Josh Hare and Davies missing for extended periods of it, that’s a significant portion of a small squads wages being spent on players we cannot select. Suspensions to combative players kicking in at this stage of the campaign exacerbate the problem leaving the squad threadbare just when we are looking to press on with the challenge of staying in play off contention.

I think away from home we are better without JCH .... that said with no Ogogo I worry where the bite might come from. Injuries have been awful this season and I’m amazed that JCH / THD are still not fit ! What on Earth has happened to Davies .... was out with a niggle weeks ago.
Anyway ... hard fought 1-1 today and hopefully we are not stretched so hard we lose a man ... have a gut feeling for another Red Card today.
