Been quite successful at starting these recently so I thought I’d get this one going.
First league game against these lot since 1992, 2nd vs 5th “top of the table clash”.
Can we make it a fourth win on the bounce in the league?

I fear a drubbing today but I live in hope we can get something today.

As I posted on another thread ,imo we are playing the champions elect away , I believe they will pull away from the rest (Wycombe included who will fade away)and win the league comfortably, as long as we show the fight and determination that has been evident recently, I wont be to upset if we go down fighting, can't win em all! however it would not surprise me if we came away with a very hard earned point to reward the loyal Gas eds making the arduous journey east. Up the Rovers.

I'm expecting a defeat to be honest, but with this team you never know. We miss TD at the back so may let in a couple, but can we score? My head instead of heart says lose 2-1 or 0 but if we play with our hearts anything can happen. I sound like a politician so that whatever happens I get it right 😊

I don't get all the negativity on this thread Ipswich have the worse home form in the top half of the table whereas we have one of the best away records in the league. Just hope we don't miss Ogogo too much. Whoever scores first could well win this one.

We don’t win games like this but I’m hopeful of a hard-fought draw - 1-1.

We know we will battle and compete.
My confidence is so much lower if Ogogo is definitely suspended?
My heart says 1-1, my head says a narrow defeat.

I’m going for a 1-1 draw, Ipswich fans are not happy , so if we can have a bright start, then you never know ... UTG

That ain't gonna help them. It’s about time they realised; You ain’t famous anymore, you ain’t famous anymore. I still haven’t forgotten the cheating bastards from over 40 years ago. A backs against the wall 2 - 1 Gas win feck em! UTG !

If we can frustrate them I think their supporters will turn on them after a while.
They’ll be the better footballing side, but I think our game is one of the more effective ones in the league.
1-0 Gas!

Whenever you play a big side away in this league you’re inevitably playing against 11 men, a passionate crowd and the referee, so this is a big test of character. We’re no shrinking violets though so I think we have a puncher’s chance.
