Did Tony Craig's booking mean he will be suspended for the next game?

Did Tony Craig's booking mean he will be suspended for the next game? Hope not as there is no one to come into a back 3...guess would have to change formation if you are right.

Really disappointing defeat. Thought we looked quite decent in the first half but ran out of ideas in the second half. The JCH substitution was a poor one. Too early to draw any real conclusions on BG but wasn't overly impressed by how passive he was on the bench. He's obviously a reflector and it'll be interesting to see whether that approach will motivate a group of men to get results. JCH looked like he knew he was coming off before he saw the number. I imagine it had already been discussed he would only be getting 60 minutes on his comeback.

Team played well for first 25 minutes, perfectly good goal disallowed then don't know what really happened, it was like they all ran out of ideas after that.
Felt like JCHs last game for me, final farewell coming off after 65 minutes.
I wont sit here being too critical, it's amazing we are even anywhere near the playoffs, but it is a shame to lose as we could have been sat 2nd in the league tonight.

I guess Garner will be looking for additions (not sure where money will come from). With Hare out for season and Little rarely fit I guess a right back is needed. If he plans to continue with three at the back then I guess a loan signing will be needed to provide cover for back three. He must look for a striker who can score at least 6 or 7 in the second half of season and a second striker if JCH is sold. Depending on formation he plan the there will be need for a creative central midfielder of left sided midfielder. The owners of the football club who are reportedly worth £400 million? Be nice if they could back the new manager with a few signings. As for the game, it was very flat and disappointing. For all our possession in the first half I was never confident and didn't think we particularly threatened in the final third enough, although the disallowed goal should have stood. Second half we never got going and looked very sluggish. Think it was a mistake taking JCH off so early, even though I don't think he was playing all that well. The thing with him is he's a presence and occupies defenders minds and always a chance he could get a goal out of nothing, which is more than can be said of the other strikers. Not a good day, but important to put it behind us and bounce back with a performance at Fleetwood, which will be very tough. They have got some quality players for this level , some game changers and ones that can dictate the tempo.

We have performed poorly in many home games and it seems this trend continued today. It is highly unlikely that the arrival of Garner caused that 2nd half shambles today. We seem to have hit a bad patch as Wycombe have as well. We are thin on the ground due to injuries and with Garner saying he has some ideas of his own, let's hope that means some new additions to shore us up.

Would be 3 0 at HT if TN could score ffs Another classic performance from "our most naturally talented player".

We haven’t been bad at home this season , just not entertaining. First half today we dominated possession they hardly had a kick but possession doesn’t win football matches. We’ve been boring to watch at home pretty much all season but picked up loads of points which is what has taken us to 3rd in the league before today. We’ve hit a bad patch .Really ? First defeat in about 12 games. Today we set up same team same formation but tried the tippy tappy football that any Gashead who’s followed this squad over the last 12 minutes months knows gets us nowhere. Garner needs to sit down and watch more of our games over the last 12 months and just add a little bit here and there. The tempo today was poor. No point in playing JCH and then not hitting him direct. Only one game and got to give him time but our new man needs to learn what got us here and respect that and not tear it up.

We tried to tap it about at home to Bromley and we did it again first half v Southend, we came through both ties in the end by going back to what works. Hopefully for BRFC sake our new manager has watched those games on a dvd.

Only one person to blame, that twat Coughlan. Left us properly in the lurch at a busy and critical part of the season instead of seeing the campaign through. A change of manager (and coaching staff) is bound to affect players one way or another

Sh*t performance or not.
Let's be honest if anybody had said in August that this squad would be 6th in League 1 after 21 games on Boxing day and just 2 points of an automatic place, most of us would have laughed our tits off.
A bit of perspective is needed, I feel.
A meltdown is certainly way over the top.

Then again if anyone had said at half time all we needed to do was see out today's game against a team who'd one once away in 8+ games we'd be second tonight, we'd have all assumed we'd do it. I'd love to know what out new manager said to the players as half time!

Another classic performance from "our most naturally talented player". Yeah JCH was sh** He may not have been up to his usual standard but at least he scored! As it was said above after 2 and half years we still wait for the "talented player" to work out where the net is.

It feels worse because deep down we expected to win today and we know we could have been 2nd tonight!
Big game now up against Fleetwood who sit 1 point behind us. I fully expect Pompey and Oxford to finish the season strongly but there are definitely play off places up for grabs this season
I agree that Coughlan has left us in the s##t really, such a poor time to leave but we must move on and back our new man.
This squad have proven time and again they have the spirit and the fight to bounce back. Just to be looking up this season is more than I expected after the first few games, hang on in there gasheads and enjoy the ride
And give this new manager some time
January will be interesting!

A bit of perspective is needed, I feel. A meltdown is certainly way over the top. It’s not a meltdown, just a lament that even when things were going well something had to f**k it all up. You can look at it as a bonus that we are where we are, or you can see it as our best chance to get to the Championship that some will have seen in their lifetimes, on the basis that the division is so poor this year that Cogs and his dire football had us up there for half a season.

A change of manager (and coaching staff) is bound to affect players one way or another Or maybe he got this team playing well above the level they’re realistically capable of and then went home to his family and left us to find our level.? We’ll see.

Yet again today we failed against a team who set out with a high press which resulting in us passing the ball around at the back, getting frustrated and the result was us launching it long to their back line. When we did get through midfield and lost the ball they hit us with fast counter attacks through midfield and down the sides. The difference in pace between both sides was alarming, we clearly have none. I thought we were poor in both halves, started the first ten minutes of the second half brightly, faded and then fell apart with their first goal after a number of close shaves in our goalmouth. At least our new Manager should be able to see what's needed after that and I hope he was kidding claiming we played well for most of the game. For what it's worth I thought we were dire all over the pitch and yet again our keeper saved us on several occasions. Let's be honest we hardly troubled their keeper who had a fairly untroubled afternoon.
