It goes without saying I would love Rovers to reach Round 4 , but what is important to me is how well we perform , Hope the players can put the MKDons debacle behind them, and play that all Gasheads will be proud of. UTG

We haven't reached the Fourth round since 07/08 when we went all the way to the quarters. £135,000 and potentially a tie against one of the top sides in the next round for the winners today.
Coventry are a decent side and in good form though so it will be tough. 1-1 today with us winning the replay 1-0 IMO.

Coventry are a good team in good form I believe they will win by a couple of goals.
I think if Rovers are to go through it will take an exceptional performance and will require lethal finishing from us.

Light on ball winners in midfield there.
We look much more solid defensively with at least one of Clarke or Ogogo there.
I’m worried Coventry will just tear through our centre the way MK did.
I’m going for 1-1 surely we’ll be better than the last three games.

We need to give it a real go with that line up that’s for sure. We need to press high up the pitch at least ten yards further up than our last two games and when we press their defenders we need to do it as a team not just one or two while everyone else just watches that was embarrassing v MK Dons and they just played through us. Under Cogs we had a three defensive midfielder screen in front of the back four and went long and it worked but if were going to get it down and play it from now on then those midfielders can’t sit in front of the back four like they did v MK.
