I hope for the good of BRFC that Ben Garner now realises he has not got the qualities to be a Manager and quits with immediate effect. Wishful thinking I'm afraid. The best we could hope for is that perhaps he has a Lennie Lawrence type mentor that he could call on and bring in to help him and the players |

Also another reason you can't use tiredness as an excuse, when you're allowed to bring in your own player, but only bring him off the bench in the Last minute. Also could have started Reilly if tiredness really is the reason for our results. I personally don't think it is, and is just an excuse. |

Why sign a player if you're only going to bring him on in the 89th minute? We need players to come in and effect the first team straight away and if he's not good enough to do that then don't bother bringing him in at all. |

I see the official brochure site has not yet put anything on since the game finished, hopefully they are going to make a positive statement instead of comments by an idiot of a manager

I've just back, I was at the south end of the west enclosure, I wish I'd taken a pair of binoculars the game was so far away first half. I don't know what Garners instructions were, but Rodman hardly got past the halfway line for the first 30 minutes. It's good job Donny decided to showboat or Rovers would have been in trouble. I think the players themselves decided to change it, there didn't seem much instruction coming from the bench and the last ten minutes were better. They must have gotten a big a bollicking from Garner as he could muster for that, and they started the same way second half. Can't really fault players effort, pity Garner can't show any. Got to say he looks like a poor mans John Ward.
