That we've played a game every 3 days. As I've just said. How often have we played these games? Ask Midland he must get it by now.

Boys against men again today.. When you look at the team there’s not many you can really want to keep to push forward Upson/leahy aren’t good enough Hardgreaves was awful today and not ready at all(probably a worst performance I’ve seen of gas player I’ve seen in years) Barrett looks good but over weight Rodman isn’t a right back Garner has been given a crap hand of cards and needs to let go of a lot of players realistically to be consistent. If he’s going to rebuild a good footballing team I’m happy to wait as the football at the mem has been shocking for a long time now hence the attendance being down even when we were 4th Yet all these players except Barrett got us to 4th. We're missing Agogo massively imo

We were complete and utter sh1t from start to finish.
I don't know if our forwards can actually score because the rest of the team rarely get the ball up to them.
Utter, utter sh1t.

Can I just say I thought we played ok today. We never dominate possession and Doncaster weren't working our GK. At 80 minutes I would have settled for 0-0. Our defence work sooooooo hard, they must be knackered come 75 minutes, as they never get a rest. The spirit and commitment of the players cannot be questioned in my opinion . Yeah, to be fair to them, it looked like we might do a classic 'away' performance, keeping the ball out for 75 minutes without showing too much ambition and then pushing for an undeserved winner towards the end. And it kinda nearly happened.

I've also been exhausted after many working weeks. It's such a lazy excuse saying "they're professionals they should be able to handle it." You can be a professional in any line of work and be exhausted and I imagine travelling up and down the country and playing every 3 days isn't easy. Especially during winter.

So why leave the likes of Mitchell Lawson, Reilly, Nichols (rested in the week), Kelly(not played much), THD and Davies have just returned from injury so maybe could have started? Why leave some of these on the bench if tiredness is the issue? Sorry but it's bullshit excuses, and I'm fed up of hearing them.

Pirate you were dead keen on BG being appointed not too long ago. It's fair to say, just because someone looks like they might be good on paper, doesn't mean they are cut out for the job. I still won't write BG off,but losing can't become a habit. Yes, I was a year ago. As I said before, I'd have had Eustace, Evatt and Culverhouse ahead of him this time. Hands up though and credit where it is due, the board made the right choice the first time a year ago with Coughlan as he kept us up and did a good job this season with a squad of limited ability. But at the same time a year later the appointment of Garner isn't looking so clever. I'm not writing him off totally yet, but it's obviously not looking good and he isn't doing himself any favours with some questionable decisions. We all get things wrong from time to time and this appointment might be one of those occasions. I hope not and fingers crossed he can turn things around. I'm probably in the minority on here but I'm certainly not prepared to write him off 6 games into his managerial career. As with anyone new to a job he's going to make mistakes we cut a young player like Hargreaves some slack so imo we should do the same with Garner. I've got no idea if he'll be a success long term but I'm willing to wait & see, looks like I'm in a small group !!!

I'm sure plenty of people have been fed up with you over the years yet they respect you have a different opinion to theirs. If you want to just slag everything off then the FB appreciation page is the place.

We were sh**, we have been sh** since BG has come in. We need to sort it out. If we were OK in patches or if we had utilised the squad to rest players, then maybe I would get your point. But it's just an excuse.

I don't get why we played so deep first half. Donny were allowed to walk the ball 10 yards into our half before we challenged. The back 3 were only marking one guy most of the time. Instead of them moving across Leahy and Rodman were left to pick up the wide forwards, leaving the midfield outnumbered and then when we did get the ball the only option was to hump it long and back to Donny. We are so easy to play against. Garner's tactics lost us the game, Donny aren't that good, yet we made them look like world beaters.

We've just achieved an amazing result at Ipswich, everyone is on a massive high, we look like we're genuinely on to something with this group. Then the manager drops the bombshell he's off to a lower league club. Then we play another 8 games in less than a month. The stuffing has been well and truly knocked out of the players and the games are coming so quickly it's very hard to stop the slide. Next Tuesday's game at Coventry couldn't be coming at a worse time. We will undoubtedly get a pasting. Garner couldn't have had much of a worse start but he also couldn't have been handed much tougher circumstances either imo.

Hence why we needed a strong experienced manager, not someone who's never managed a club/experienced anything similar. Anyway why not stick to GC's formation until we get a clear week to try something new? Plus why play JCH upfront at home in his own with two Development Squad players behind him for support.

Not sure who it was of the coaching staff but they were stood in front of Garner shouting at the players, that reminded me that Rofe did the same to Martin Dobson. Think that was Maher. Garner continued to stand like a statue stroking his beard in a thoughtful manner!
Every time I looked over, that`s what he was doing. He looked more like he was standing in the Tate Modern checking out the latest Tracy Emin, than someone paid to influence a football match.

Don't think we look tired in the second half just simply not good enough to stop Donny scoring, although we seem to lose it when BG decided to play THD, a left sided player, at right mid, what the hells was that all about, even Lee Brown was never played in that role!
