A snowflake is someone offended on another persons behalf. But im ashamed and embarrassed by posters slagging off a bloke with a serious issue to deal with on my own behalf. Who is slagging him off? Can you post actual examples of what you find so offensive? I’ve certainly seen no personal abuse, just criticism of his results. Are we not allowed to talk about that now or something? I just believe garner should be out of bounds right now and i was a harsh critic of the appointment. Maher is manager at the moment. |

Our next game, Fleetwood, is on the 24th January. The last league goal we scored was the 26th December.

I wonder how long it will be until BG himself turns around and says "I'm clearly out of my depth and I wish to leave before causing any more damage to the club as a whole". It's pretty obvious the club won't be getting rid of him any time soon due to the severity of the situation he finds himself in off-field (correct moraly ofcourse) but you would think surely BG has to realise he's not good for the club and will step down himself...

I really think the board as custodians of the club should be making these decisions and steering a course for the end of the season and letting Garner concentrate 100% on his family. Their sheer impotence at the moment is breathtaking. |

Bristol Rovers and Ben Garner are two separate issues. Ben Garner has to much going on in his personal life to worry about Bristol Rovers and Bristol Rovers have to much going on to have an absentee manager. We need to bring someone experienced to manage the team with no issues in there personal life and let Ben Garner consontrate on his family. If this isn't sorted soon the uncertainty will continue to have a negative effect on the team, so a decision needs to be made post haste in the best interests of all party's.

I think Ben and the club will make a decision within the next two weeks as to weather he will return or take a break from the game but until then we need to respect the unfortunate situation we are in no matter how bad it seems right now.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if he gives a statement next week in which he says in order to focus on his family and make sure the club can also be concentrated on by someone who can give their all in terms of time and commitment that he chooses to step down. I think this is the only way the club is going to start to steer it's way out of the mess it's currently in. |

I genuinely think he would come and for all the people who say we couldn't afford him that's rubbish as the guy isn't looking for a pay day hes just looking for one last job before retirement. |

He's clearly still heavily involved in managing the side, or Maher, Starnes and Ginnelly are all pedding lies about him for some odd reason and he's really at home taking no interest in the side. |

Bristol rovers football club currently have a owner and board that wants to leave,we currently have a manager who could leave through family reasons and we have a group of players who most don't know if they are going or staying! Can it get any worse?
