Early days but it looks like we are 433 and trying to play football.
Gino Gineli looks good so far. An exciting player willing to try stuff. Bit of pace on him too.

We’re still not attacking enough, first shot in the 31st minute - and it’s a long distance no chance attempt by JCH off target.
Our play is looking better and we look more organised but we’re not nearly good enough going forward

I've just tuned in on iFollow - looks like Alfie RB? Either way, playing some tidy football so far. Blackman also looks very commanding which, no disrespect to Jordi, JVS wasn't. |

Even Stevens which is great improvement from anything 2020 has to offer Not so sure it’s even , other than the score, we still look like a team who don’t understand the plan Fleetwood have had loads of half chances and a couple of good ones. We need to be patient though of course. |

We need to be patient though of course. I'd say weve edge it. Fleetwood's plan looks clearer but its pretty basic. It's almost exclusively switch balls. Whereas we've pressed teams. But the DM's are still a couple of yards too deep. Think getting abs on would help. |

We're more organised, but going forward our players aren't connecting at all. Pretty much every pass is misplaced and straight to a Fleetwood defender.
We look better & for the first time under Garners reign, I can see what he's trying to do. However, we need to change something as going forward JCH is too isolated.
Davies looks shaky tbh, but that's understandable. Ginnelly the stand out so far.

Reasonable first half, not creating clear cut chances though.
New boys and injury returners all with decent performances.
Ref giving Rovers very little and nothing where JCH is concerned.
OC and Sercs both with good work rate but giving the ball away too easily, especially OC. JCH not much better.
Blackman and Ginelly looking good.
Hopefully THD will last the second half or we might struggle.

Think getting abs on would help. Funny how we see games differently. IMO we are no where near to edging it. Fleetwood probably should have scored at least 1 goal, whereas we haven't threatened once. Fleetwood aren't much better than us, but for me they're just edging it. |
