We are dealing with a virus as severe as flu and a pattern of pneumonia but without vaccination or specialised, non-generic treatment. It has the transmission effectiveness of chickenpox (transmission possible during 2 week asymptomatic incubation period) which I believe will prove impossible to control. I would recommend that anyone in at risk groups stocks up on medicines and supplies. Those not in at-risk groups have excellent survival rates but if you do get it, you'll be self-isolating for 14 days so may be worth getting a few bits in. Cheers. Being immunosuppressed I will have to probably start being a bit careful. Looks as though we are about to see an escalation in uk cases so I will be keeping a lower profile. Gives me an excuse to stop going to matches so every cloud and all that!

Well, the COVID19 plans are in full swing here. We have a secondary work location which is used twice a year for 'emergency tests', so the team are being split into two, with half working in our normal location and half going to the secondary site. All outside work contact between the two groups is forbidden. We are also being kitted out with equipment to enable us to work from home if required. The working from home is a real security nightmare. Staff are being advised not to travel on the public transport system. If need be the company will pay for a taxi to get you to/from work. Personally, I have to work from the secondary location. It's a bit of a PITA as my normal work station has two PC's and six very large screens. The secondary location only has one PC and two medium screens, meaning I cannot display/monitor as much stuff as I normally do.
In the supermarkets, toilet paper has sold out. It is the one thing that has been in big demand. Beer is still freely available, so there is some good news! In view of the pending armageddon I have started to fatten up Mini Me MKII. You never know when you're going to need that extra food.

Already talk about playing games in closed stadiums. Another blow to ST holders if it happens. The way it's going any home matches after Sunderland will be at risk.

In France they have banned crowds of more than 5,000. Pretty soon that won't be a problem for Rovers !

More of a blow to the club who presumably will have to refund season ticket holders for the games they cannot attend. Guess I Follow revenue would increase if they were allowed to broadcast the games.

Most companies work under the premise of not refunding people if extreme natural causes happen outside their control. Pretty sure this would fit into that category, but could be wrong

I would imagine if they didn’t that would be another blow to their season ticket sales next season.

I predict we'll beat it 6-0...either that or we'll all get a cough and flu for a couple of weeks.
Seriously though, 'the way it's going' would mean if it doubles every week for 6 weeks only 2,500 would have it, hardly a world ender in the immediate future anyway, we'll be ok until the end of the season I reckon.

The sooner we wash our hands of Bennett the better.

What position does Covid 19 play? Doh! Pretty obvious. He plays the No. 19 position.

My son has had a temprature recently, I took my son to see the GP yesterday and then was referred to the Children's for their input.
Asking about travel, etc was an afterthought by the GP and nothing mentioned in Children's ED. Mind you, both were very quick to see us.

On a serious note I’d imagine the Euro’s in the summer must be a big doubt
