Can someone help with a bit of Maths and potential timescales? Vaccine. Fairly safe to assume first on the list are over 80's, NHS and Social Care workers. According to Google, UK stats, 3.2 million over 80, 1.4 million in NHS and 1.6 million in Social Care. That's a total of 6.2 million people. Now, if we assume, any of the vaccines that have been developed get the go ahead in what, 4 weeks? How long before I, being 51, would be able to get mine? And if anyone's got the Euro Millions winning numbers for tonight that would be great. You missed out a band. 65+ band before availability permeates down to 50+ Guesstimate June for you? Bugger.

Just out of interest do you go for the pneumonia ones as well? Is there one? I never knew that depends on your age I think as all babies get them scheduled now. Its a one off for adults unless you are really quite ill where you need boosters. Should be offered for anyone getting a flu jab but as I day its a 1 off. If you're not eligible you can book one privately is my understanding.

My wife works on a covid ward and just tested positive, five of us isolating here including her 84yr old mother. Not nice.
