I've seen you get pulled apart on the alt forum by other detail wizards. To cover off the following posts, I've only got one username, always have. 79 is year of birth, my name is Simon and I'm from kwood. Your mate/lapdog is amusing, admire the loyalty but ffs come on! Admitted I clearly don't read off the same page as you 3 on here but tbf I honestly don't mind that. Your attack line of detail and intrinsic knowledge of this n that is great, it doesn't really matter though does it? It's a general chat footy forum.. I'm obviously proof of that, as seemingly most things you think are right, I think are wrong, yet my life is pretty good 🤷♂️ I'm occupied for a while now so I'll have to leave you guys to reassure and congratulate eachother. I have never signed up to gasheads org so can't help you from that angle sorry. I'm also a pretty straight up bloke so I'd just tell you straight if I was another person elsewhere. Cheers. No wizards on the other forum, I only post here. 😇 I suspect Yatton's, Oldie's and my lives are relatively comfortable as is yours as you mentioned above. Where I see a difference in our views, and I'm deliberately generalising here, is that our view seems to be formed around what is 'good for us' whereas those we are arguing with is formed around what is 'good for me'. Enjoy the summer. Well put

What's good for 79 is inevitably not going to be good for everybody and likewise what's good for others is not necessarily good for 79. That doesn't make you or 79 right. What is right is that people should be able express their views without abuse from others just because they don't agree with it. People need to respect others views no matter how much they may disagree. Obviously it's worked for 79 and I think that's great . Personally I chose the vaccine route and that 🤞 has worked for me that doesn't make me right and 79 wrong though.

We should all be prepared to adjust or even change our views when evidence is presented.

Anyone, anybody, who comes on to a public forum and makes completely unsubstantiated claims, or states a point of view that is devoid of any factual basis, should expect to be challenged. To bleat about a challenge, or make the statements that GH79 did in his last contribution is laughable. You guys can correct me, but to me that reads like "whatever the facts, whatever the evidence, I choose to believe otherwise" How very Trumpian. But that's fine, but if you do that you have to expect to be ridiculed. Surely?

No wizards on the other forum, I only post here. 😇 I suspect Yatton's, Oldie's and my lives are relatively comfortable as is yours as you mentioned above. Where I see a difference in our views, and I'm deliberately generalising here, is that our view seems to be formed around what is 'good for us' whereas those we are arguing with is formed around what is 'good for me'. Enjoy the summer. I understand what your saying, however it's a bit one sided. Personally I chose the vaccine route and that 🤞 has worked for me that doesn't make me right and 79 wrong though. Agree, good luck with your choices. I am interested in 'vaccine route' though? Is that a commitment to taking this every 6 months? Are you encouraging kids in your family to get it? I watch with interest those who have given up after 2 jabs(fully vaccinated!) since the hype had switched to champagne parties and Ukraine.. Must point out though that I am here offering my thoughts in a thread of what, 5 contributors? The recent posters tend to agree with eachother on the covid, brexit, govt topics so I'm a minority without 'facts and evidence' getting sniped at from multiple angles. Outside of this tiny thread on this tiny forum there is a wide world. WRT Covid, I have offered my thoughts and reasons for choices made. Offered some observations but that gets shouted down by the usual few. That's fine. I genuinely feel sorry for our people who have fallen for the 'facts'. Honestly, I'm not taking the p155 here. If you just stop for a few minutes and look at this covid thing without any influence from 'experts' or 'scientists' it is completely transparent. It's been an amazing deployment from the start. Anybody asking questions was silenced and ridiculed, banned from the screens or social media and labelled. Fortunately the lid is ajar now so we can get other views from other 'experts and scientists' which is refreshing. I am away at the moment and it is so reassuring to mingle with people from other countries and hear just how many are on the same page! Of course, I expect nothing but the usual from the obvious candidates here, but I assure you that I've been able to listen to people from other parts of the world over the past few days, and it's frightening what has happened the last couple of years. Guys, I'll jump in after the weekend to see the jibes but tbh, I'm probably done. Sorry to post that in reply to Stuart btw, general posting. Thanks all. Si.
