Obviously not for this Coronovirus necessarily, but to prevent or fight off flu and such like, I always swear by a mixture oranges, lemon, manuka honey, black cumin, mugwort, plenty of garlic and...rum. 100% agree. Its only a danger to the very ill people of this world, and the old if they catch it. I work in retail and the other day I must have been asked 50/100 times during my 10hr shift for hand sanitizer gel by customers - which we have sold out of because people have been going out panic buying! 😨 Funny thing is that if you look on Ebay fuckers are selling our product for £10 a bottle when in the store its costs around 50p to buy !! 😂 I keep seeing people wearing those masks and Im thinking wtf... If there were 500/1,000 cases in a place like Bristol alone I would get it, but its people buying into the scaremongering they hear on TV, abit like that stupid bitch greta thunberg and that sh** she goes on about in regards to global warming. You may disagree with her view or the way she delivers it, but why are you calling a child with Aspergers a "stupid bitch"? shes not a stupid bitch she’s a stupid cow |

Dear oh dear Just for them In normal circumstances I’d press the laugh button but I am truly rendered speechless when I open any social media platform and see so much bile and vitriol that it beggars belief mucker. I’ve tried to discuss that hatred aspect of it but it gets bogged down with indoctrination of global warming and then people totally disregard that they are being complete bullies. She used an iPhone to help her speech and that was jumped on and berated; yet our PM and all world leaders use autocue but nothing. I was stupid to think people could take up the be kind mantle. This is true but much of it is down to education and lack of it plus then add religion and you have a heady mix. The so called civilised and mostly western world, are now having less kids while the 3rd world and those of RC and other religions, are still having large families. You do raise a valid point |

It's all being blown out of proportion, if it was the winter flu, 50,000 in the UK would have it by now not the 40 or so that do. Swine flu, Bird flu, this 1 will be no different. We might be in trouble if this was like norovirus in how quickly and easily that's transmitted but it's not so please dont buy all the beans and bread so there's nothing left in shops That is 100% not true. Healthy middle-aged people have died from it too, it's just much more likely for the elderly & ill. Mortality rate has now risen for 3.4% I believe, which isn't good. I agree about your point on face masks though. Personally, I've bought a few hand sanitisers just because they're bloody hard to buy at the moment and living in London and getting on the tube every day it's absolutely needed all times of the year, with or without coronavirus. |

As regards Greta...I think a lot of her problem is that she is preaching to the converted. Most western countries/Governments have strong environmental lobbies. You can argue how effective they are etc but that pressure for good is there.
Not so the further east you go. And surely there should be some pressure put on those areas by her and her supporters to get some traction there?
To be fair I do not know that she hasn’t....just not seen the published evidence of such activity.
Of course, going back to the original point of this thread, that may be a bit difficult at the moment.....(or indeed at any other time given the way those sorts of Governments operate against dissent etc). But that’s where work needs to be done and seen to be done.

Sadly I'm not sure much can be done about it in China, but we can certainly improve here in Europe. It isn't enough to just say we're working on it. And ultimately, what she's doing it working. Hell, a Bristol Rovers forum is talking about it so she must be doing something right. I don't remember Boris Johnson going to speak at the Labour party conference though, did people question him preaching/speaking to only Tory supporters? |
