You do make me smile. What exactly do you know that informs your opinion that 50% of what "they say" is rubbish? I mean seriously, you say one thing and then directly contradict yourself. How, please dumb this down for me? That's a toughie. I am not sure that I can. So just consider this. If 50% of " what they say" is rubbish, how important is the balance of 50%, from a 100, and what should we do about it?

How are dumbasses like me and you meant to know any differece between 0%...the 50% and, 100% of what they present to us as truth..? Its pumbed throught main stream media as complete fact so therefore must be 100% correct? I guess... But I am the dumbass tho here. If say 50% of what they say is fact, not whats on just on TV/in the Newspaper/or on Facebook, but 100% agreed fact then of course major action is needed to reverse the problem. I dont know the answer myself, but its my right to question any clear un truths given to me by these loons based upon my humble knowledge on the subject.

I made a comment about a person being a bitch due to her actions and ego in the media.I have that right to that view btw .. Why is it that I have to come up with a answer to Climate change just because I dont agree with half of what they/she say's ? Is she/or they some kinda god? I agree with alot of what they say and stand for,but the loons spin huge amounts for the own gain thats why I go against them.

I think you have a responsibility to educate yourself. You have said several times you dont know anything about it, yet you use your humble knowledge to judge and deride others. Yoo also say that 50% of what some say about climate change is nonsense but when asked about the 50% they are right about you have no answer. Do some research, check your sources and look at a wide variety of sources, not just wherever you get your normal news from. Either that or carry on your ill informed ranting on an internet forum. Whatever floats your boat.

Can you say that you know more than anyone else on here including myself on this subject, or any other topic for that matter without knowing me on a personal level? As I cant say that about you. Im willing to bet however that you and I know as much as 99% of others on here do tho. Im also sure that you and I know as much as alot of the extinction rebellion protesters also. Not the experts in difference science fields, but rather the loons that go around smashing up things and telling the world what to do.

Sorry IceGas, but you're chatting absolute sh*t mate.
Firstly turdburger is a climate change denier. You then go on to say "Your 100% right. Climate change is a real thing"
Also, you are having a dig at Greta for her asperges. You highlighted it as a negative thing to associate with her. Otherwise, why say it? What does it matter? Just because your sister has it, doesn't mean it's not a dig. It's the equivalent of saying "Are we meant to be listening to a 17 year old black girl - thats not racist btw, because I hate a mate who's black". Or "Why should we listen to a 17 year old gay girl? That's not a dig btw because I have a friend who's gay". That would be racist and homophobic. So yeah, you are having a dig.
Do you have actually any reason to warrant calling her a "stupid bitch"? Based on facts, rather than the very obvious bullshit you've read on social media.
As others have pointed out, you've said "50% of what they say is rubbish and pure scaremongering, and f**king stupid." - Do you care to point out which 50% of it fits into this category please? Sources would be good. And while we're at it, which 50% you then believe to not be rubbish?

She's just as much a hypocrite as the rest of the snowball population. Moans about single use plastic yet is pictured using it regularly. Extinction rebellion protest about climate change but spray paint bus stops all over Bristol and cause general havoc and have Jane Fonda fly from LA on a private jet to talk in London and then fly her back. The hippies on the side of the road moan about the dangers of diesel fumes but drive and live in the most polluting diesels on the road and also burn goodness knows what in their log burners 2 keep warm. Dont get me started on bleeding vegans. Over the history of this planet there have been times the earth is warmer and times the earth is cooler, it's a cycle, it's gone on long past our existence and will carry on long into the future. Yes we are damaging the eco systems by pumping stuff into the sea etc, that's undeniable but this climate change malarkey is wearing thin now. Another toy by big business in which to make money off of us Moans about single use plastic, is seen reusing single use plastic, you mean? I reckon you could do with giving that helpline a call. Who's the real 'snowball' here? No, she has been seen countless times using single use plastic not re using. And snowflake, bleeding auto correct.

One of Greta's demands:-
"We demand that at this year’s Forum, participants from all companies, banks, institutions and governments immediately halt all investments in fossil fuel exploration and extraction, immediately end all fossil fuel subsidies and immediately and completely divest from fossil fuels.
We don’t want these things done by 2050, 2030 or even 2021, we want this done now – as in right now."
Totally unrealistic.

The discussion is already happening isn't it? The drive to achieve will be based on technological breakthrough's I would have thought. For example, are electric cars really less polluting than petrol/diesel cars? Is there a better technology out there than electric? Should it be standard for all new-built homes to have triple glazing? There are lots of questions, and improvements in the way we live can be made at relatively low cost. Remember the days when the hole in the Ozone Layer was discovered over Antarctica? We were all going to burn up apparently. That hole has now near enough completely closed up.

Yes of course, but there tends to be political inertia when vested economic interests are at risk from actual action. Btw the Ozone layer started to heal once the use of CFC in aerosols was banned, by Sweden in 1978 and quickly followed by the States. So Greta is right, drastic action works

CFC's were banned and those appliances (fridges etc) continued to work by using a different method. Improvements were made, and nothing changed drastically. Greta's "demand" that we stop using fossil fuels right now is just totally unworkable.

First point - fair enough. The post confused me tbh 2nd - the way it came across was that you're viewing her opinion as less important because she has asperges. I hadn't seen anyone in this thread mention that you can't speak against her because of her asperges until you mentioned it. But I am happy to be proved wrong if you can show me the post? 3rd - Well that's because it was a pretty outrageous comment that needs calling out. I'm just wondering where it came from, or if it was just something said in the moment? You said after "why cant i call her a stupid bitch? Imho her actions are that of a stupid ignorant person" - what actions are those? I can understand some of the followers, the loudest are always the most annoying - it works on both sides of the argument. However, I don't agree that her actions are that of a stupid ignorant person. Also, I noticed you didn't provide your information about which information you read to be rubbish & scaremongering

By announcing the imminent ban manufacturers were forced to find a technical solution. You can bet your bottom $ if the Swedes and the American had said in 1978 we are going to ban CFC use in 2000 nothing would have happened until the late 90s. The thing is though, this is down to us, the end user / consumer in reality.

Isn't it something like 2030 in the UK? I'm not sure of the exact date. Technical solutions are being sought to replace the internal combustion engine, although in my opinion electric is not the way to go.
