GC is the answer everyone says??? People stopped coming to the games because it was pathetic football to watch when we were f u c k i n g 4th, never hated a number so much because the you narrow minded retards banging on about it, Grown men crying about “but we were 4th”. Get over it for f**k sake, man up If GC stayed here we would never have stayed in the play offs because we haven’t got the squad, The likes of Portsmouth / Peterborough / Coventry / Sunderland / Doncaster have the squads and more money to stay there. FACT When Dc was in charge and we played exciting football with brown/bodin/Taylor...we won games and the attendance was high. GC won games and people didn’t turn up but the morons want him back playing sh** football and all he had was sh** off fans saying coughlan out/ p.e teacher doesn’t know what he’s doing!!! So much so he was begging fans to stop having a go at his family and slagging him off and get behind the team. Now the same people want him back. Now it’s become so toxic these so called thick dickhead gasheads seem to be happy we’re losing games to say see I told you get GC back, Total embarrassment and pathetic individuals Don’t shout at me mate I only asked who cares about Mansfield 😂 I really liked Coggers I but I’m clearly in the minority on that one. I don’t give a sh** about Mansfield, I’m pointing out he’s had 2 wins in 12 games for them and he’s not the answer

To all those constantly calling for BG to be sacked. We are getting better and the scoreline flattered Wycombe. We had 53% possession 19 shots and six on target. Yes ww didnt win that will come but your Messiah GC didnt often get close to those match stats with his boring strategy Who needs 4th in the league when you've got match stats 👍

In his interview, Garner when asked about JML commented that he has set an example to the others and that you have to respect what's here, fit in with the dressing room and work hard in training which JML has done, however is that an implication that some of the other young recruits need to adjust their attitudes?

We may be getting better but still managing not to win a game. In fact, BG has not won a game yet. I think the club and fans are showing extraordinary patience with him. At many clubs, such a managerial record would have resulted in dismissal.
Incidentally, possession statistics are totally meaningless. All they indicate is that one team had the ball more than the other. So what? Rovers had the ball more than Wycombe but still lost by two goals! Last week Man City lost to Spurs despite having 75% possession.
The only statistic that matters is the goals column. In this particular case, if the away team concedes 3 goals it is unlikely that they will pick up a point. As was the case today at Wycombe.

Same as DC at Walsall , McGhee at wherever. Coggers was brilliant for us then he left , now he’s gone , I couldn’t give a monkeys if Mansfield win every game or lose every game it makes no difference to his history here , same DC. It’s like saying DC wasn’t good for us because Walsall are on a poor run . It’s irrelevant. “ Mansfield have won 2 out of 12 games he’s not the answer “ !!!!! I really don’t see what your getting at.

I thought today we played pretty well. Looked quite good going forward but missed some great chances. Wycombe had half the chances we had but scored 3. JCH was particularly unlucky today. .

As I quoted during the match wycombe's game isn't built on possession, or chances, they aren't going to be worrying about that. There's only one team in league one with lower possession stats at home, and that is us, largely due to Coughlan playing a similar style - like it or not it has proved a lot more effective then Garner's philosophy with our league one players. www.transfermarkt.co.uk/league-one/ballbesitz/wettbewerb/GB3If you look at the detailed stats on this link you'll see that today's match is the one wycombe have recorded their highest ball possession figure of the season!

I was really enjoying watching us win most weeks and couldn’t understand what all the windging was about. Be careful what you wish for as they say.

If the stats show 1 shot with 1 goal does is then follow that it wouldn't matter if we had 15 shots with around 8 on target? Of course not. Statistics reveal that we are creating chances which suggests the improvements required are less than if we weren't. The only statistic that matters in terms of result is goals - but absurd to say that's the only thing that matters to assess development.

He's got his players in, he's gone with youth and with that you have to give time. Have to confess that my knee jerk reaction to today's result was to say, that's enough, it's not working. That was wrong.
Improving performances are one thing, we need a win. And we need one in the next two games imo or his position becomes increasingly untenable even at this early stage

After all he was effective at achieving the only stat that actually matters.

I'm concerned about the lack of results since hes been in charge but changing manager again after BG has had a transfer window will only confuse the club more. I personally think he will come good but this season unfortunately is over now but I also see us only getting a point on Tuesday and the fans will undoubtedly have the daggers out but I see us turning it around in a couple of weeks time! KTF UTG!

If we throw away soft goals week after week it's irrelevant how good the rest of the side is. Edit - I'm not in the sack him camp just yet although it is clear something is seriously wrong.

The problem lies with the defence imo. Craig cant play in a back four we all know that and Davies is rarely fit along with our full backs plus our goalkeeping position has changed so often too. We dont have a settled defence to work from and yes our midfield and attacking options have changed too but our lack of keeping goals out is the main concern. I'd like to see the new lad partner Kilgore so we can play out from the back more and have the pace to keep up with play. I think we miss Josh Hare more than most people realise.

We can’t create chances in a 3-5-2 playing Garners style because we’ve got no creative playmaker but we do stop conceding goals so much in that formation.
When we go 4 at the back we’re more attacking create more like today but Tony Craig isn’t comfortable in a back four , our central midfielders aren’t mobile or good enough so we’re a shambles defensively.
That’s what I’ve taken from the Garner games so far.

I'm not in the sack him now camp either. However, I'm in the camp that says let's review it immediately after the last game of the season.
To date, his record is nothing short of abysmal. We have not won a game under his charge. During that time we've exited 2 cups and slid remorselessly down the league. After the Ipswich game the talk was about promotion. Now the talk is about relegation - which I can't see happening due to the points accumulated during the reign of GC.

Yes he looks a little overweight but he was brought in for that attacking flair but after a couple of starts for us hes continued to be benched?

He’s probably not happy with his weight and trying to get him fit.
