That was a very poor game of football and really hard to watch, but did anyone really expect a classic on that pitch in those conditions? As for people constantly calling for BG to go what do you expect from him? Do you want him to go out on the pitch and put the ball in the net himself? We have created so many clear cut chances in the last few games to have won them comfortably, confidence is obviously low in front of goal at the minute, I think all we need is the ball to come off somebodies nose, ass, knee anything and we will start to pick up results our play has deserved recently. All that being said there are a number of players in this side who are just not up to the level required, we really need to improve the quality of this team in the summer.

Again it’s not the managers fault that we miss multiple clear cut chances. Back him or do one Isolate this game and you have a point. But 14 games without a win is awful. I’m not sure what there is to back. BG needs to prove that he is the man to take us forward. He has failed to do that so far. Only wins will enable him to do that. |

Big picture tonight is that Tranmere didn’t make anything up on us and Southend and Bolton both lost so we won’t get relegated. Whoopee! 😀
Would have been great to win but that sounds down to missing lots of chances. JCH was tucking most chances away before Christmas even when we didn’t create much. Now it sounds as if we are creating a few but he’s missing them. BG’s an easy scapegoat but don’t think that’s necessarily the managers fault. As for not playing the 7 players he signed, 3 of them played tonight.
And can you imagine the meltdown on here if on that pitch he’d brought on Abraham for his league debut and Tranmere scored a last minute winner? Absolutely pointless on that pitch risking a hard-earned point just to play a youngster. Well done the players tonight.

Don't think you can tell a lot from that game tonight whether we won, lost, or as it happens drew.
It felt very Sunday league when players couldn't tell where the ball was going to drop in those conditions.
I know it is little comfort, but is anyone seriously worried that a team playing on that pitch every other week is suddenly going to pick up 15 points more than us?

Reasoned view you re banned 😂😂😂😂 We got found out under GC and it was dire, agree with everything the Evil post reporter wrote pre match today, we were so lucky in so many of the games scraping wins, that it was unsustainable, and we had to change it. BG will get it right, I have every faith. Not to have a go mate, but how can a team be lucky over 46 games? From when GC took charge to when he left, we were second in the form table. I don't dispute that there were few games where we outclassed the opposition, but it can't be all down to luck when you go the equivalent of an entire season winning games. I have a season ticket and went to all the games however most of our fanbase were not impressed, we should have been having 9 to 10k in attendances but it was dire. I'm glad Cogs went he organised us, promised to get a playmaker in for this season but no one rocked up. Ben would have had 3 wins on the board if JCH scores the pen against Fleetwood and we had taken the chances in the last two. Its all about opinions but am happy for short term loss for future gain. |

Yep. Hard to accept but BG has been very unlucky. Had JCH done those things we’d be on the edge of the play offs and most on here would be cheering saying standard of football is much better and we’ve still got a chance. But JCH didn’t so it’s all different. Have been out all evening so I haven’t seen it. Did JCH create his own chances or did others? If others did and JCH just missed them perhaps Timmy A or Daly if fit may come in for him. That may shake him up! UTG! |

You don't spend 45 minutes second in the league, half way through a season based entirely on luck. Cnnit beleive anyone in their right mind is still backing this fraud.
