Simply not good enough Looking at Garner walking off I wonder if he will resign this evening I suspect a severance deal might not be difficult to negotiate. Seems a really nice guy but unfortunately that's not enough. Can't image what he will say in post match interview. If we don’t have performance targets and review periods in our contract with him Starnes needs to go as well. GC was approached by Mansfield after their manager failed to meet targets and a similar severance option was activated.

I left after the 85 minute, I just could not stomach anymore of Garners lack of tactical leadership - FFS one up front at home to one of the worse teams in the league, unfortunately Garner has made us into the worse in this league. Get Garner OUT NOW!!!

Well we’ve got a lot of it now, without the threat of relegation looming over us. A knee jerk decision will just lead to an eye watering severance bill and leave the team rudderless. If Garner gets the summer, IMO there is a lot more chance that his vision, which let’s face it we all want to see implemented, will come to fruition. Sorry Axegas, you're clutching at straws mate. We are going backwards. The bloke was allowed to sign a lot of players in Jan. Way more than what I thought he would. We had a decent enough team already here who were 4th in the league. You've got to work with what you have too. We lack bite, creativity, we're poor defensively, no spirit, 1 win since he's been here. Why should we keep him? The fact that we are probably not going to get relegated is not a good enough reason for me. Its hard to remain positive after watching that sh** show, I accept that. I was genuinely bored out of my mind watching parts today. I’m just not going to allow myself to lose long term perspective and go away from what I’ve been saying all along which is the man needs a summer transfer window and a pre season to implement what is a radically different approach to what we’ve had in recent years. All the things you say we lack right now, the bite, the creativity, the defensive attributes, they can be amended with a good transfer window let’s not forget that. Also I’d say that the majority of the players that are letting us down right now are members of the old guard that Garner inherited. ie Clarke, Upson, Leahy, Clarke-Harris.

Sounds like he's close to cracking in his interview. Part of me feels sorry for the bloke, but enough is enough.

Let's also not forget that we were using the excuse we were tired over Xmas. Well Shrews had a midweek game too and we didn't... That was a valid reason, amongst a few others, at the time. I long for those days when you could think of a decent reason why performances were below par.

Gates have fallen and will continue to fall even more which means revenue is going south, so where is the budget for his new Players going to come from. Garner needed to produce an acceptable number of good results to seed his long term plan. He has failed spectacularly and I am concerned for the future of this Club.

Clarke harris is isolated on his own and clearly cannot play to that system. Clarke and upson are not good enough anyway and should not be anywhere near the first team. It should not of took him 16 games to realise this.

I admire your loyalty Axegas, but BG is proving that he is incapable of setting up a team to play the way that is required against other teams in League 1. He seems to be stubborn in his formation and tactics when it is plainly obvious that it isn't working - either because we don't have the players to play that way or the oppositions formation and tactics negate ours - or both. A good manager would set us up differently, play to the players strengths that he has at his disposal, take account of the oppositions players and form, and change things during games as required. Despite him bringing in a significant number of his own players in the January window he still would appear not to have the personnel required to play his way, yet he won't change. He is proving to be inflexible and incapable of managing a lower league football club.
I really hoped that him joining was the sign of a new exciting way of playing football for us, but sadly it isn't working, and to give him longer just risks this malaise carrying over into the new season, and then we will be staring at relegation. I'm sad to say it, but he isn't a Manager and has to go asap.

The way the crowds are going you could win the 50/50 with one ticket and still make a loss. Been a big backer of BG, but today’s performance was reminiscent of the terrible season under Ward where we just didn’t look like scoring. No tempo, poor passing, lightweight players. If we get turned over at Southend it will be difficult for him to continue. Clubs in free fall on and off the pitch.

Greta and Garner two days of people straight out of school without life experience. Naive and gullible fans following like sheep. Realism and life experience needed.

At least Greta can motivate people...give her the managers job I say. Gates up by thousands with all those Gloucester Road Greens and a change in pasty suppliers would surely follow.

After all, the results don't matter and clearly next season we will win. The evidence is there

Garner needs more time, the summer at least. Then he can have a chance to shake up the midfield and recruit players actually capable of performing what he actually wants. The team are letting him down big time, I would be throwing chairs around the dressing room right about now if I was him. Time? How much time do you want to gvie the bloke? There are literally no positives right now. Let's be fair, Garner was the cheap option, and there cannot be many cheaper than him?
