toteendbar - again, great suggestion. I was thinking about a media thread too where images, videos and highlights can be posted as they arrive?
As for Brian. Brian is a Rovers fan and all Rovers fans are welcome here. However, I would suggest that it is probably better to contact him via the means the club has set out. I.e. In 140 characters or less on a different social media platform, if you are a season ticket holder of course...
Hes welcome to join, but I don't think he will.

This suggestion may not be welcomed by some,but how about asking BSS to join,at least Brian kept us in the loop as much as he could? Of course he may find it to be unadvisable considering all that has gone on,but I always found him to be as helpful as he could be. Wonder what you lot think. BSS can obviously join like any other gashead. To go out of our way to invite him would merely massage his ego IMO. He is now just the same as all the big headed businessmen on the board. his actions (or lack of action / principles) show he offers nothing different to them. They vote together and suck c0ck together. |

I've also added a divider to separate "stickeyed" threads at the top of the page and changed the setting so that posts today show the "time since last post" in blue and older posts show in black.... makes it stand out slightly more IMO.

Ok.... think I've now sorted us a "back to top".... when you scroll down the thread, on the right hand side you should see a watermark "up arrow". Click that and it will take you back to the top of the thread Pretty unfair to be frank. He is Achillesed by the board and their way of doing things. If you have a face to face conversation with him then he will explain in full. He is having to fight from within and they are able to veto ANYTHING the so wish. Anyway, he is a member of the IF and posts there more than he did on the unspoken forum. |

Simple. I've been on the committee of a much larger organisation than BRFC and unfortunately the 'fighting from within' option just doesn't work. Let the businessmen on the board get on with what they want. Fan directors are a joke and actually make it harder for fans to show the board how they truly feel. Fan directors give the board a legitimacy they do not deserve. |

Apologies if this has been requested, but if I remember correctly there used to be a "back to Rovers talk" (or similar) button at the bottom of rovers talk pages on the old forum. That was really useful as it took you straight back to the topic menu for that section after you'd read a post without having to go back to the top.
Would it be possible to have one here (someone may well tell me there is one and I've not spotted it!)

Some of us that live in other parts of the country would perhaps benefit from a thread that would enable us to link up to share car travel to away matches etc.
Bristol Rovers 1883 Ltd have made this option much more difficult by closing the OF - leaving us scattered across a number of mediums.
