Hi guys and thank you so much for joining up. Members are coming in slowly but surely and its an absolute delight to see some familiar faces.
Remember, spread the word to your forum friends and get them involved too!
Now, I'm looking for suggestions on things you'd like to see on YOUR new forum. If you have any ideas, throw them out there. On that note, I have added a new section called 'Gas traders' which you can find on the front page. This is for any of you who offer goods and services to pop down your company details or what you do and other fans can find you or pm you for details. It will always be findable on the front page and will hopefully help gasheads to help gasheads and become a bit of a directory.

I think it was lord Byron who posted the mornings links to the bristol city post rovers story most days.might be an idea to do that on a Daily basis on one designated thread.or just post it randomly like the old forum to pad this one out a bit as were still in our infancy.i could do either just so people don't bugger off to the IF/OF to pick up the latest news,but that's about the limit of my interweb skills at the moment.

how about a weekly loon thread in the gentlemans room.... say a mid week night, where we can all be as childish and pathetic as we want to be.... like the good old days.... just make sure anything too risqué is gone by the morning  |

Couple of ideas I've got: (probably sh**)
- Board to suggest new chants/songs
- Board for lineup predictions before each match (those threads always used to be popular on the OF)
Perhaps just one big 'PREDICTIONS' board, so attendance, lineup etc. can all be kept together? Not sure.

I was wondering if someone would keep a Twitter feed thread alive for those of us who don't use it.
I seem to recall he was pretty hot on that stuff on the OF.

Pretty sure I did see a ggmi account sign up a few days back, but not sure if it's posted or not (can't see on mobile I don't think). Although Clarke has said recently that he doesn't want the players using twitter, so any twitter thread may be a bit quieter this season than last! |

I've just had an idea - we should have a 'greatest threads ever' section on the menu
The idea is, once a thread reaches legendary status (I.e hilarious for some reason) it gets moved there and saved for eternity.
So if this were the old forum, I'm thinking Joe Anyinsah jumping, dogs in underwear, the PS2 thread (way back) etc. What do you reckon??

This suggestion may not be welcomed by some,but how about asking BSS to join,at least Brian kept us in the loop as much as he could? Of course he may find it to be unadvisable considering all that has gone on,but I always found him to be as helpful as he could be. Wonder what you lot think.

Its my personal view only but if he is a Rovers fan then he is quite able to join up and contribute if he wishes I would think. All Rovers fans have something valuable to offer. Given how things have been and the last patronizing thread about us all pulling together I dont see what BSS the fans director will have to offer. |
