Apologies if this has been requested, but if I remember correctly there used to be a "back to Rovers talk" (or similar) button at the bottom of rovers talk pages on the old forum. That was really useful as it took you straight back to the topic menu for that section after you'd read a post without having to go back to the top. Would it be possible to have one here (someone may well tell me there is one and I've not spotted it!) Ta muchly! Hi mate, If you're on a PC, you should be able to click the up arrow on the side of the page to scroll directly to the top of the page instantly in one click and then can just click the "Bristol Rovers Gas Chat" link just under the main logo to go to the main menu of the whole board, or "* Gas Chat *" to go back to the main page of the " "* Gas Chat *" board. Alternatively, when in "mobile view", at the very bottom of the page should be a "< Back" button. Click that and it will take you back to the main page of the board you are viewing (i.e. clicking it on this thread would take you back to the "* Gas Chat *" board). Hope this helps. If I've misunderstood your request or my instructions aren't clear, just let me know. |

I have also added a button at the bottom of each thread that says Back to Gas Room. But it doesnt work so im trying to work it out! Cheers

Cheers Ras, i've been meaning to ask, and tell me to bugger off if you like - i can take it. The "Gas Room" - it just sounds awful everytime i read it, reminds me of Auchwitz. Could it be called "Gas Lounge" "Gas Station, Gas Den etc. Actually on second thoughts its just me :-( it's the "Gas" in the title it just sounds bad to me - ignore me. Just had to say mate, but if others and yourself are cool with it, i bow to your democratic judgements. UTG |

I have noticed a few links to remove banner adds when poking about in admin Ras. I am guessing you would need to pay a subs to remove them.
My guess is that you get a 14 day ad free trial at start up. Could be totally wrong mind.

Looks like the ads are the price we pay for free hosting. Well, you get nothing for free I guess. If all goes well, we will host it ourselves. Back to gas room button now working thanks to RD. May be changed soon to read something else

We only have RoverDrive to thank for digging me out of an html code shaped hole. You will now find the site more navigable. As well as the 'back to top' arrow, we also now have the PAGE SCROLLER on the bottom of each thread. We also have a new button BACK TO GAS WORKS on the bottom of each thread that will take you back there. Thank you for helping us make this forum better for everyone. Ras.

Seriously though its up to them mate. Its here and staying here and we try to do what people ask for. They know where to find us. Great team of tech savvy mods. Growing members each day. Just see where it goes I guess. Still tiny compared to the IF though.

Finnish Gas would like to add predictions and ratings etc but noone to run it now. See what comes up over the summer.
