I certainly lack the passion to buy one for next week. Saves a total of 240 miles, drink, food, programmes and 50/50 tickets. |

BG talks about needing preseason. Absolute cop-out. Any manager with something about them could have navigated a team to at least a point today. He must be sacked tonight.

Think it’ll take a pledge from supporters not to turn up until he’s gone to get him out.
I’d be up for signing it and sending it to the board.

It’s a Christmas miracle, Brookman usually comes up with more excuses than Paul Buckle! Joking aside, such a staunch and loyal club servant questioning the passion really does show how deep the problems must go unfortunately. |

Sounds bad and I’m beginning to think he’s looking as if he doesn’t have much time left but too many OTT reactions. Nowhere near our worst team or worst times. Blimey I can think of at least 2/3 and that’s only this century! I feel most sorry for all those away gasheads, such loyalty.... Yes the manager carries the can but the players need to share the responsibility. Christ, I’m trying to convince myself I’m still looking forwards to Tuesday! UTG! True, it's not like he's got the worse record ever of any manager and we've just lost to the second from bottom's Academy side 3-1!! I'm not sure we've ever suffered a worse defeat TBH, possibly York away before McGoo was fired but at least they were all 1st team players not kids. Oh, Im not disagreeing with you Topper. There should be no excuses for what sounds such a bad performance. I wasn’t there today but I was at York and I still haven’t recovered! 😭 But it always looked like he was going to be given a free hand for the rest of the season. Unfortunately it’s just shown little respect to all those who travel distances in strength to watch crap. UTG! |

This team was rock-Dam-solid when Coughlan was in charge; proper Rovers spirit, might not have been the most talented bunch playing the prettiest football, but they were playing for GC, for each other and for us - and we were united. Garner has single-handedly destroyed the very thing he said he wouldn’t tamper with when he first took over and is seemingly trying to make out as though it’s been like this all the time really . . .

As I said earlier in the thread - if he can't set us up with a formation and tactics to beat a poor League 1 club's development/U23 team, then he will never be a manager. He must be shown the door tonight. |
