Garners message on arriving was "once i get lots of players out of here we will play the way i want". Surprise surprise, senior players didn't like the message and downed tools.
He was saying the same thing again post match!

Saturdays arent the same anymore, no excitement or anticipation for the games. No interest in attending games home or away anymore. I cannot be the only one that's lost the passion for rovers.
I don't know how anyone could support BG remaining in charge another day

I don’t like seeing home fans turn on the manager, but Benny is out of his depth and the fan base are the only one’s who can make it ugly enough to make the man walk - Give him hell from the minute he walks across the pitch, at least if he does not walk the board might take note, oh if they turn up that is!!

I can't deal with this anymore' and I watched us at Eastville, Twerton and the Mem..... I can't see how Garner cannot be sacked. I've had it

Personally would rather we steer clear of personal abuse.. but that’s just me. Hopefully the facts will speak for themselves and the board will act accordingly.

Just on the train back. Ben came immediately to the away end at the full time whistle to a then angry reaction and chants of “what a load of rubbish”.
Southend absolutely gifted us a goal, otherwise we could have lost 3-0 to the Southend youth team who hasn’t been paid again.
He has to go, he just has to. I’m not even angry anymore, I’m just feel numb.

Take it steady and avoid injury the older heads will be thinking to themselves. Completely the opposite to how DC used contracts as an intensive.

Let’s be honest fans on this forum complained about the style of football GC was producing week after week. But by hook or by crook , managing to scrape a narrow victory by the odd goal, it was never going to be sustainable . So an inexperience man took over in charge tried to stamp his own style of play into the side. For one reason or another failing miserably, If for example ,fans get there way and Garner either jumps ship or is thrown overboard, where will that leave us?. A new man takes over and again wants to stamp his own authority . More players out to allow signings to be brought in. So let’s start all over again . We are staying in this league for another season ,so we have to put up with this until next season develops..because chopping and changing Managers at will is not the answer. And trust me I’m gutted as the next man. But we are where we are . A club ( unless major investment is forth coming will always stagnate as a League 1 side . Just be grateful for very small mercies.

He lost the dressing room from day one by stating he needs a massive player exodus to play his way and the players just didn't like his approach to them and why would they? The players however are paid by the club and should be professional enough to at least try for the fans but they have clearly given up after today and yet its us fans that lose out on the fun and the money we have spent on watching this disaster unfold.Ive never seem such a awful rein to a managers career here and I look at last season where Walsall were high up at the turn of the year only to be relegated come the end! It could happen to us this year and probably will with this guy in charge!

I tend to agree although your approach affects the Club's income and who will know why you are staying away?

The thing is, I don’t have much confidence that Garner will motivate the lads in the dressing room at half time. At least with Coughlan, if we had a bad first half, I would have some confidence that we would come out, change things up and look a little better. Can’t say the same at the moment. Motivation and confidence is a bit part of any sport. I only played at a low level but I know how much team spirit and motivation and a team playing for each other can make a huge difference. BG does not seem to build that mentality. And that is why DC done so well in his first two promotions, oh how we miss his passion.

He was saying the same thing again post match! He might be a good coach but he clearly hasn’t got a clue how to manage a squad. Anything but sacking him first thing Monday morning is complete negligence from our board.

Do the right thing and make an announcement by 6pm. Anything else would be disgraceful.
