Good to see the armchair supporters have been out since 3 o'clock today with their totally negative views. Plus side for them is that the got the result on the pitch they wanted so they could continue their abuse against BG One thing obvious watching the game is the sooner preseason comes so BG can get rid of those incapable of passing a ball more than five yards and those who have know interst in even trying. Pathetic Pre season will see players brought in who will compliment those who joined January. Instead of getting your banners out and trying to organise protests get behind the the team and show them you care instead of looking for a scapegoat. BG is staying and he will make it happen. I admire your loyalty but when your team has just lost to a team that is nailed on to be relegated with a side full of youngsters who haven’t been paid for a month, you can’t blame anyone for being negative & angry. I agree with this except the loyalty part. My loyalty is to our club not a manager who’s been here 3 months and won 1 game. Taxi for Garner.

Whilst leadership is vital, it’s the relationship between manager and players that is the key. The players aren’t having him whatsoever. It’s so obvious. He couldn’t be more different to Coughlan if he tried. Leadership is knowing what you’re doing and not only that it’s about the players knowing that the boss knows what he’s doing. Garner is more like a PlayStation manager. The computer doesn’t answer back or ask questions. The club is burying its head if they refuse to act and they are wasting time and money if they don’t act ASAP. Garner has been exposed as a fraud. Harsh, but then he put himself there. He’s not a fraud he’s a coach with a good reputation as a coach who’s tried his hand at management and failed massively. We’ve all had a go at things that we realised we perhaps could do it doesn’t make him a fraud it makes him a good coach of young players and a crap manager. He comes across as a decent bloke but also in equal measures he comes across as a bloke who’s way out of his depth as a manager. I think a lot of people on here are really trying to be fair about Garner and giving him time to try to get it right; the problem is, he’s not just some office bod who’s moved departments and needs a little time to get used to a new set of procedures . . . He is the manager of a professional English football team, a job held by only 95 other men across the whole of England & Wales. He should’ve been able to hit the ground running when he took up the appointment and not need time to learn his trade “on the job”, as it were.

Coughlan said he had no security or words to that effect at rovers despite the two and a half year deal. I think it will cost very little to pay off garner.

Well I realise that sometimes a new manager does need time , not every manager hits the ground running but after nearly three months there should be signs of things coming together which there isn’t. In fact it’s the opposite. That’s how I see it.

There's one team that earned their wages today and it definitely wasnt our team. Yes Garner must go but the players must share the responsibility too. I wonder who the culprits are

But the thing about football is a squad is a bunch of blokes in their 20s and if they don’t like the manager or rate him then the majority of them won’t pull together and give their all regardless of anything else.

Putting it in the draw until he gets the sack might have been a better option ?

His office will, no doubt, have a sign that says manager on it. His would have signed a managers contract. He will park his car in the managers space. Players play, coach’s coach and managers manage. His title is MANAGER.

Can anyone see Starnes or Wael having the backbone to sack BG after this? I can’t, especially after listening to the Q+A. Surely they have no choice. Keeping him would be an insane decision. There will only be a positive difference to the Has if both Starnes and Garner go

He hasn’t the personality or the strength of character to ever be a manager. That makes him a fraud or a charlatan. Take your pick.

Garners message on arriving was "once i get lots of players out of here we will play the way i want". Surprise surprise, senior players didn't like the message and downed tools. He was saying the same thing again post match! Yeah and if plastic surgery made me look like Brad Pitt. You play the hand of cards you are dealt
