Seems an odd way to fulfill the integrity of the 'unfinished' season.
Why not complete these games sometime in 2020, which should be possible (maybe August/September at the latest), have a two week break then start season 20/21 even if it's in October. Subsequent seasons would have to start later until we're back to an August start maybe by 2022.
Does it really matter if the squads are slightly different to complete this season after July 1st?
All the other ideas about points per games played so far seem to be too artificial an option to be taken seriously.

To be honest- rodders talks straight forward honesty. No opinion, no agenda. Seems a top bloke top rep. Rodders4PM I found it refreshing to hear a player actually talking common sense and being direct and not beating about the bush, while also being able to speak properly, He’s gone up a great deal in my estimation and obviously doing good work for his colleagues. You could see him actually debating a case properly with others and not towing the line away from this tape.

There are only 22 teams in L1 (no Bury) so 4 will come up from L2 presumably? Eh? 23 teams discounting Bury, as much I would like Bolton to do one (cheating bastards and make it 22) it still leaves 23. You’re right, silly me. Hopefully Bolton will be relegated anyway.

Degree educated and has a number of businesses outside of his footballing commitments. He’ll do well once his footballing career ends unlike some players who don’t have a career to go to once their playing career ends.

Radio Stoke Sport's bulletin this morning all about the leak from Bristol Rovers.Apologies if mentioned elsewhere but Port Vale quite pleased with the suggestion of the top eight teams having a play-off.

The thread started off so well 'there will be no resumption of this season', bit of common sense there, then it all goes down hill with all these different relegation and promotion equations. As the legend who is DC would say ' forget it, move on, dust ourselves down and go again' when it is deemed safe to do so and at the moment no one knows when that will be, but it aint any time soon!

Glad I haven’t renewed my season ticket yet. Just hope we’ve got a club to support whenever next season actually starts. As soon as that is announced, and that we will be participating in it, then I’ll happily renew immediately.

Unfortunately, whilst I'd love to renew now and help the club, my finances dictate that I can't until I know what's happening because of all this virus crap 😣

Apologies if the link has already been posted. This really is not great for the club at all. In the words of Ballotelli himself (almost) “Why always us” www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52493649I was under the impression the Snake had already left the building. It seems we have another in our midst.

It's not really a leak against the club, it's a leak against the EFL, essentially, and I don't think we need to lose any sleep about that.

Sadly if those who can don’t renew then there may not be a club for us to support when this is all over. I was intending to register a protest vote against our playing and non playing management by not renewing but put all that to one side in the interests of the bigger picture. Understand for many this isn’t an option right now though.

It's just embarrassing for the club that confidential information that the EFL didn't want out in the open just yet has been leaked from our end. Rodman's done nothing wrong but the guy in the chat who's passed it on to his mates has. Hardly 'confidential information' when the 'information' has already been reported on in the broadsheets.

There were parts of the recording that the press hadn’t reported on prior such as the EFL estimating that 60,000 tests would be required to get it played behind closed doors for example and as far as I’m concerned any meeting that an organisation has where it doesn’t want the outcomes circulating publicly is “confidential”.

Some of the articles I read referred to listening to a "taped conversion" where do you think the broadsheets got that from?

Depends which papers you read I suppose and whether you have an axe to grind!

Thing is, even if the season resumes behind closed doors itll be crap anyway. I’d rather it was just cancelled. A match without supporters immediately becomes less interesting even if it has entertaining play - and some players will be less up for it without a crowd to motivate them.
Case in point - Checkatrade trophy. And even that had a bit of a crowd.
