There is no doubt in my mind that our education system has abjectly failed lower income groups, regardless of race or skin colour. I was lucky, as a baby boomer, the post war government (although broke) poured money into education with a massive expansion into new comprehensive schools (i was a beneficiary), expanded the university provision, again free with a grant if you needed it. Now look where we are. Thanks Thatcher. |

Not simplistically France, but the ethos that State Spending, Government Intervention, is bad was a big theme for her, as it was for Reagan. Their Bible being the theories of Friedrich Hayek, not Maynard Keynes. After doing it again post 2010 it appears the penny has finally dropped. Only took 70 years, well thats standard Tory competence. |

Does anyone know why the BBC and others are not covering the story of the NFL superstar Zac stacy beating the f**k out of his wife?
It was released from home CCTV footage and is a huge story in the states.But as it doesn't fit in with there biased and corrupt narrative nothing is touched upon in regards to this that I've seen.
Maybe it's because he is a black man and she is a white female...?

Yet our own manager was 3rd on the news page a few weeks ago in terms of news story's on the BBC website given his holocaust remark even tho it was taken out of context. Don't you tell me more people know JB worldwide then they do Zac Stacey today? I'm an NFL fan and he is a big star. And BBC is the biggest news organization in the world, and they chose to jump all over the JB story,as they will with his court case against his wife ( even tho today there is no proof this happened) yet with Zac Stacey there is CCTV footage of him bashing his GF yet nothing on BBC or Sky .. meet me half way. |
