www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-52806572Once again America proves it is the most f**ked up 'free country' on the planet. This is straight up murder in my book and the ex-cops need to get done for this. The video is pretty distressing and a slam dunk as they say for a conviction This was followed by another man with a gun and a badge shooting a peaceful protestor with a rubber bullet edit. doesn't even look like he resisted arrest. Dam lady gardens

In a group chat with a mate from Boston and we were discussing this last night.
It's actually at the point where he just isn't surprised at all. He was more surprised that 4 officers were actually fired.
Which about sums it up in the US

This guy gets shot, the jogger in Georgia gets shot. The white woman in Central Park calls 911 when a black guy (who was bird watching) asked her to keep her dog on a leash (per park regs) and says an Afro to American is threatening her. Meanwhile over in Michigan a large group of armed white protesters storm the State Legislature. What happens? Nothing. Just imagine if they were black...

He is an A1 cock but unfortunately for the rest of us a dangerous one. Hi Clive What increasingly worries me is that we have a fascist in China, a Fascist in Russia and a raving lunatic in America who, quite frankly is to thick to be defined as anything. What should have been the counterweight to all this both economically and militarily, Europe is tearing itself apart because of horribly bungled common currency and the withdrawal of one of its major economic and military powers, us. It's a dark period.

Hi Les Couldn't agree more, and all over the globe China and Russia are extending their influence as the US has abdicated it's traditional post war leadership role We in Europe should have seen this as a possibility as the previous status quo was always dependant on the whim of the President Unfortunately,I'm not sure Europe would have stepped up to the plate as a group and it would have been left to us and the French. The only thing Trump has been right about is Europe's reliance on US military power and other than a few exceptions the unwillingness to fund it.

Disengaged US, disunited Europe, financial issues, UK caught up in its own constitutional crisis? Did anyone see the reports of a border clash between India and China? www.google.com/amp/s/www.aljazeera.com/amp/news/2020/05/tense-india-china-standoff-himalayan-border-escalate-200527120501581.html

Doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome is the definition of madness

read about this the other day, i'll pop up two pics, showing how that dirty b'stard pig slowly chocked the life out of the guy, look at the first pic i post and take a good long look at the pigs face, he clearly doesnt give a toss, the second pic is from a different angle but clearly shows how the pig knelt on his neck. At least he's being charged with murder whether he gets convicted is another matter. I don't think it nothing new over there, i feel it's just reported on more these days, lets hope the pig gets lynched so he too can fell the pressure on his neck and slowly chock to death just like the poor guy who he murdered did

I think we all know the answer to that one, They have always been a law unto themselves, i mean look back to the 80's, people being beaten just for turning up at punk gigs, they seemed to calm it down more recently, but they now seem to be going down the same path as they did during segregation. Maybe it's because they are armed, makes em feel like superman and gives em a god complex.

I mean, if I was wanting to protest my frustration at the death of someone the same colour as me the first thing I’d do is rob a TV and shoot the owner of a pawn shop 🙄
The killing of the suspect was obviously a total disgrace but as usual the black community does itself no favours in it’s reaction and the mayor of minnesota is quite right that it’s not even about his killing anymore, it’s just an excuse to loot and shoot. Can’t really blame Trump at that point for threatening to meet fire with fire. If you want to loot and burn sh** down then that comes with consequences.
They all need to calm down and listen to matey above in Oldie’s post: get into politics and beat them up via the ballot box.

Watching that ,the first thing that popped into my mind was this lyric. Tomorrow your homeless tonight it a blast from the song riot by the dead kennedys. strange how stuff like that pop in your head. Those protesting should stand back a tad as one pig has been arrested for murder and i believe more charges will follow, the real test foe the american justice system will be whether a conviction is given in court, if or when he gets sent to nick, you can guarantee he will be learn the error of his ways. Although i cant help thinking the arrest was more to appease the crowds than to serve justice.

It only got worse after the cops were firing rubber bullets and tear gas at these protestors The Police have escalated all the trouble I mean any need for this, even if they were told to go inside their house?

Hmm maybe, but let’s be fair rioting and looting follows controversy in the black community like night follows day so who would have bet against it happening from the moment he was killed regardless of what the Police did? I mean, if you are protesting peacefully then the Police escalate it fight the Police! What purpose does burning down a grocery store serve? Or killing a guy in a pawn shop? What, he won’t let you just walk out with a TV? How does that help the memory of the guy you are so watered off about? There is no moral high ground to be found here anymore. It’s like two tramps fighting to the death in the gutter over a bacon sandwich. Send in the army and start shooting. Then you’ll have the black community crying even more about Institutional brutality. “Killer Mike” or whatever his name is had it spot on.
