Vote on whether to end the L1 season without fulfilment of fixtures taking place any time now, L2 have just officially voted to end their season with L1 expected to follow suit.

It does take the p*ss when Wycombe vote not to play on so they can then play on in the playoffs instead of 8th.

Crewe, Plymouth and Swindon coming up from League Two - Nice to have another 2 local teams in the league. Hopefully Exeter, if not Cheltenham, can win the Playoffs.

They will look after their own interests just as we would have done in the same position. Just as any team outside the play offs who’ve basically under achieved. They are looking to get some redemption from playing on, I’m not fooled by McAnthony at Posh, he only wants to play on because they’re outside at the moment, just like Sunderland. There is little integrity, only self interest. Lets hope they can decide today and make a decision one way or the other. UTG!

That's exactly why the Football League should have dealt with it properly rather than leaving everyone to sort it out themselves. I'm not sure what the actually do apart from arranging sponsorship deals and penalising the smaller teams in the leagues.

Garner is expecting the season to be over but wants a start date for next season as soon as possible so he can start planning for pre season and recruitment.

Isn’t the whole point of being given a vote, to vote for your own interest of what you would like?
I see nothing wring with Wycombe voting to end the season. Would people complain that Tranmere will vote not to?

I'm not sure what the actually do apart from arranging sponsorship deals and penalising the smaller teams in the leagues. I guess the reason why they have acted this way is then they can't be held accountable for whatever the outcome would be. Teams hard done by will probably want to take legal action. But the Football League not making the decision but making the clubs themselves make the decision today via a vote, would remove the Football League away from legal action taken against them. So using Tranmere as an example, if they want to go down the route of seeking legal advice, who are they going to be challenging? The Football League would just say they are acting on a vote, which Tranmere took part in. So who would Tranmere be challenging at the courts? So this is the Football Leagues way of taking no leadership, meaning no accountability or liability.

Bristol Rovers 2019/20 season is over. Goodnight Irene. And goodnight Tranmere, good I’ve never forgiven them for stealing the trophy off us at Wembley in 1990! :enjoy league 2 and Stephan Payne 😁:

You could see the Tranmeres and Peterboroughs of the world dragging it through the courts for a long time given the chance.

Our season has been dead an buried for a while, BG really needs to sort the team out..I don't think anyone will be as patient with him next season.

I didn’t realise that it pushed Peterborough out of the playoffs? Ha ha! I read somewhere that before the lockdown, that twat Mc Anthony ( or what ever the bells name is) said he would resign if Peterborough didn’t make the playoffs? Well crack on then my dear, as you say you are a man of your word? 👍

Hallelujah, what took them so long! tough on Tranmere i suppose, good club with whom we had great relationship during championship season
PS didn't realise Ipswich were so far off pace, expected them to win title, don't rate their manager though.
