I thought Wimbledon were going down for a moment when I saw that table, but I guess they have been saved by Bury this season..
Some good away days next season.. I hope Exeter come up from League Two.. and I'll be rooting for Portsmouth (Browner and Ellis) in the L1 playoffs.

Wycombe are such a lucky bunch of counts. I really hate them.

Gutted. I really feel it was in the best interests of the club to continue this season.

As a side note, it seems that our result against Sunderland in the last game pushed them out of the playoff spots (assuming like most did that they would've won that game).

Good news in my opinion. Not ideal by any stretch of the imagination, but then all of this COVID stuff is far from ideal isn't it. Curtailing the season on points-per-game was the least-worst option.

What an awful set of play-off contenders. Portsmouth are the only ones that don't make me sick.

Gutted. I really feel it was in the best interests of the club to continue this season. Would be good for Garner to get more game time from his players to learn his ways and direction. But I suppose maybe instead we should start pre season a bit earlier than some clubs so we can play extra pre season games to help Garner. At least this way, hopefully we would have some new signings in place to learn Garners way and if we lose these games, it wouldn't hurt our position in the table. Takes pressure off Garner and the team and gives freedom and time to get it right. No excuses for next season either.

I for one am so glad that Tranmere and Bolton have been relegated.
Seeing Tranmere fans complain on Twitter that it’s not fair because they have a game in hand. They could win that game 10-0 and still be third bottom

I have to say, the * Coughlan left! Imagine the season being called off when we finally had a chance of going up

So would people see this a season of progress or regression for Rovers?
We never were in any serious relegation battle like last year and finished higher with more points, but it feels very frustrating that we were in such a good position for so much of the campaign and it just fell off with awful form after January.

Massive regression from where we were at Christmas. How anyone can see the last 3-4 months of the season as a positive I do not know.

Crewe, Plymouth and Swindon coming up from League Two - Nice to have another 2 local teams in the league. Hopefully Exeter, if not Cheltenham, can win the Playoffs. Crewe only half an hour for me.Fab Chippy opp' the ground.

Disgusting decision. All leagues stopped or none. Any reason other than money for this. I am fuming.

They could win that game 10-0 and still be third bottom I think its harsh on Tranmere. Could have stayed up with the amount of game remaining and they could argue they had the easier run of games left compared to Wimbledon. And looking at form over the last 8 games, Tranmere were doing better winning 3 of their last 8 while Wimbledon had won just once.
But although it is harsh in my opinion, I am delighted just purely down to Stefan Payne.

The excuses will be out in force for Garner again regardless. Lose our first ten games and it’ll be put down to gelling again.

If you think there's probably 6 teams voting for promotion/playoffs. 3 or 4 teams above the relegation zone, looking like they had a chance of relegation. So they would have needed 2 or 3 more mid table don't really give a toss votes to carry it.

A lot more money in the leagues above, financially the damage to leaguev1 and 2 clubs is already being done, would only extend the damage with, travel, security, insurance of players... makes total sense financially.
