Politics in this country has become too American. In that elections are popularity contests and that there’s a fierce level of polarisation between political parties. With the media trying to make that rift even bigger. I wish people would read manifestos, listen to what their local MP has to say and make informed decisions for themselves. It was good to see how close the leadership vote was. Although the loony won, the slightly less loony was not as far behind.

It's almost laughable. Have you ever watched her in an interview? My god.

It's almost laughable. Have you ever watched her in an interview? My god. Anti gay, anti abortion and anti end of life dignity. Where do the Tories keep digging these abhorrent excuses for human beings from?

Where do the Tories keep digging these abhorrent excuses for human beings from? I’ve just read the article on her anti abortion beliefs and that she tabled a motion that any woman who wanted an abortion should be given mental health counselling. Absolutely frightening. Just when you think it couldn’t get any worse www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-62805268

Probably from the same place Labour dig up their abhorrent excuses for human beings who have the same views or even more extreme.

Probably from the same place Labour dig up their abhorrent excuses for human beings who have the same views or even more extreme. Name the current Labour MPs who hold similar views , out of interest? 1. Racheal Maskell Mike Kane Rosie Cooper All voted along with Therese Coffey against extending abortion rights in Northern Ireland. 2. Nearly 100 labour MPs voted against the assisted suicide bill in 2015. (I'm certainly not going through the list to see who is still an MP. 3. 22 Labour MPs voted against a bill for gay marriage. (Again I'm not going through the list). Just a question Yatton do you believe in abortion up to the day of birth for any reason? Secondly do you believe doctors who perform sex selected abortions should be prosecuted?

When they are given the cabinet position for health I will call them out.

Nice to see the FTSE100 reacting positively to Truss being in charge. Down 1%. Great.

one thing I will say about Liz Truss, is at least PMQs actually resembled something grown up compared to Boris Bullshitter flailing his arms about

Nice to see the FTSE100 reacting positively to Truss being in charge. Down 1%. Great. Nothing to do with who's in charge, more to do with falling business profitability and excessive government borrowing.
