I watched it yesterday. When they were 3-1 down they played 8 passes along the back four IN INJURY TIME. Serious question to the coaching experts on here WHY? 'Cos I'd love to know. Damage limitation.

They must be right up there in the Championship for overspending v Under achieving ….
Their owner has spent a fortune (not for him) trying to get them into the Premiership … not sure why he shows so much loyalty to 'The Squeak' - With the resources available surely there are better Managers out there who could do better? Long may Johnson reign in BS3 !!

Obscene transfer fees that would annoy me with any club as I can't stand the way bang average Championship and even L1 players are going for silly money these days, but with City being the beneficiaries it irks me no end. Still, you have to say from their point of view they've done very well out of it.

I’d rather they kept selling their best players and stayed in the championship than hold on to them and win promotion. I doubt many Sh1!heads feel the same though. UTG

They will also soon hold the record for the lowest attendance in Bristol for a league game . They already do unless we’ve had less than 3,049 for a league game. That’s what they got v Torquay c.1982. Think their lowest is 2696 v Millwall.

Perhaps waiting for Lee's daughter to be old enough to be the third generation in charge ?

I agree he doing a sterling job, perhaps a 5 year contract extension? That should be enough time to get them established in Europe. 😂

Having watched their highlights I was wondering who the clown playing goalkeeper for them was; turns out they paid ~£2,000,000 for him!

According to the local rag up here, Steve Gibson has bankrolled Middlesbrough to the tune of 170-180 million in the time he has been involved with them, they worked out that that means he's ploughed in over 400,000 a WEEK during that time, eye watering but at least they have been in the Premiership mand Europe. Not sure how much Mr Pantsdown has poured down the toilet at the Stadium of sh**e but per week must be a good deal more than Steve Gibson.

From a quick glance at the bible...."BRFC Definitive History"... and through a magnifying glass....the print is tiny.... the smallest crowd actually in Bristol I can find is is 2,959 v. Bury 5/11/85. Have no idea what our illustrious red neighbour's lowest league crowd is but I think it's not something we wish to highlight.

I remember the first seasons at twerton, crowds were around the 2,500 mark, just the hardcore left, so best not to take the water out of the 82ers regards crowds, even still their support around 82/83 was pretty sh**e considering they only had a short walk and we were playing in another city.
