They’re genuinely talking about wanting their team to LOSE on Wednesday in the hopes it sacks the manager quicker.
Awful awful self-entitlement attitude.

Oh god, this'll add about 2000 pages to the dustbin thread over at the other other place, they'll be having a tiny brained headfit at this thread name 😂 The sarcasm will be lost on most of them.

Very true. I had to have a peak, it seems half of them are berating Wael's capitalising the debt, and our joy. However, one or two have raised the point that it's exactly the same as what got them to where they are over the last few years. And that leads me to realise why the rest of them are keeping fairly quiet. Bless 'em

You may be right Wimborne. There are a lot more AFCB tops around the local area and they have been very good with the work they do in local schools. They have always been very strong in the community. So much will depend on, if they go down, Eddie H staying or getting someone who can do a Burnley and return them to the PL and of course keeping as many of the players as they can. I just know when I go you look around and you think will you lot still be coming if relegation happened and I’m not so sure they will. I will because I go to live football, the division doesn’t really concern me, but I’m not sure about the 5000 who have arrived over the past 10 years. Lots of stuff riding on the next few weeks I guess.
And of course for Rovers it is about attracting the younger generation of fans which usually means attracting families until the younger ones can go by themselves and TV plays a big part in that. Matchday experience at AFCB is pretty good I’d say as it was at Rovers a couple of years ago. I hope the new positivity will mean stuff starts to happen to make that matchday experience improve at the Mem, outdoor bars, football competitions for the children, decent accessible shop easy to get to and other stuff. All this would help make it better imo.
The other lot getting in the PL will make that even harder, but that’s not our concern. All we can ever do is improve what we offer, most other things are outside our control.
UTG!
Edit: Sorry, this was in reply to Wimbornegas. I should have included the quote but I forgot.

Christ, I wouldn't want our entire fanbase's opinions to be based on a vocal minority on here. The amount of sweeping generalisations that goes on on both forums discussing "they said this" is just ridiculous in my view.

To be fair, the One Turd Gas thread, which now boasts an incredible 1301 pages, has dropped down to page 2.
This appears to be in the main due to the fact that they are now busily debating the future of Likkle Lee, with threads dedicated to slagging him as a manager, slagging him as a coach, polls on when he should be sacked and polls on who they should get to replace him. One hero solemly declared that the only way to get out of the Championship was to hire a foreign manager. It seems to me that was disproved comprehensively by Villa and Sheff U last season, but we must leave them to their little fantasies.
There are also threads dedicated to castigating The Duke for not sacking him, not sacking Ashton, not spending enough money, etc etc. It really is like watching the tantrums in a nursery classroom.
Hilarious!

Have similar anecdotes from working in IT and people reading a single forum post from 10 years ago and then telling me "oh it's a common problem, everybody's talking about it on the internet". It has to be said in this instance; it's their entire forum. Literally the consensus there is "LJ has to go, I hope we lose all our matches". I suffered through 2 pages just to get the gist (insomnia will do strange things to a man) and can confirm there ain't not support for the team or the manager over at One Turd
