So basically if you didn't buy a season ticket before they went off sale last Friday there's no guarantee you'll be watching Rovers live when the new season starts? Given no tickets will have been sold for the away end it may just be as easy to keep that closed and just open up the full south stand to home fans, as I'd imagine social distancing will be a nightmare to deal with on the terracing. Seat tickets cost more than terraces. They usually get sold out. If so, where do some of them go if they can't get in the seat? On the terrace? So they are getting reduced value? Alternatively every third match you get your seat? some people also have genuine reasons for sitting. what happens to box seats? Who cares, I agree! Glad I always get terrace; can disappear for a smoke if the football is ..... PS We may get lucky at a lot of away games as they will not be anywhere near enough filled in so away may get in? Hopefully we play them early in season? Alternatively we play teams like Wombles at the back end; would not fancy going there again unless they move. Build more temporary stands if space allows? UTG

Will the pasty huts be open? They will be difficult to eat with your face mask on, no offence to Boulders but he maybe able to stick his up his ass and still enjoy it

I've never used I follow, how much do they charge per game/season?

Why not show the game live outside on big screens in big open spaces? A drive in? Charge a small price? Free for home supporters with tickets. Also cover away supporters so they can get a chance to see in their home town? We get 1/2 the proceeds if we supply the tech, they supply the sites. Probably mean approximately 5-10 fold increase in away attendance.
Tout eligible ticket holders tickets to see if not coming or vice-versa I can phone to say not coming and they give me a credit in shop, etc. Then others can see the match if restricted numbers? Difficult to sort out technology to log this beforehand and at turnstile and then reset after each game?
So many other options? If we were near a big team with massive capacity, we could have borrowed their ground? Sadly, we are not but other clubs could see this as an option e.g. Wombles could play at Griffin Park or use one of the many London grounds? In fact, have a tour where they visit different grounds in London each home game and be able to accommodate all their home AND away supporters?

I've never used I follow, how much do they charge per game/season? £10 for each away games. One camera, no replays, terrible commentary, and only available for away matches in U.K. No annual ticket. UTG

You can have a drink in the bar with no mask? You have to wear a mask to watch the game? What about a drink and a bite to eat before / during / after? More importantly, can you still smoke? UTG

Happy to follow at home this season - hopefully via match day coverage.
Really don't get the urgency to travel or be at the ground whilst Covid is still amongst us.

Surely it's easier? All you have to do is ask groups to stand more than 2m away from one another. Everyone should know what 2m is by now (I know - they really don't - they think its more like half a metre). In seated areas it's much more challenging I'd have thought. You have to figure out how people are going to pass each other - and you'll lose rows at a time as they're too close to the one in front. If I've got those assumptions right it'll make it easier for us.

I'm assuming that more than a third of the mem on a match day is filled by season ticket holders, even if there are no individual tickets on sale for entry on the day, how are they going to turn away some season ticket holders but not others who have paid for all the home games?
I usually go to all the home games as a season ticket holder but I think it will be ifollow for me until the situation normalises itself once again.

However I think season tickets have sold at a much slower rate than before. I'd happily go along with social distancing in place, but much less likely to go with the sniffles whereas I'd normally battle through it! Either way there will be some long attendance streaks that will be broken by this.

Beggars the question; can I register for iFollow (maybe using different email names with each participating L1 Club) and then log in and watch when they play at the Mem? Assuming iFollow relaxed so can view weekend matches? UTG

Forgot to mention that iFollow only applied to weekday games and not weekend games, I think. Some clubs also opted out of iFollow so you cannot watch them (at their place?). So unless rules changed, cannot watch Saturday / Sunday games. UTG
