A draft report by the sports ground safety authority has said that when the season starts again in September capacity will be reduced to one third and maybe as low as 17 percent to start with. Not good for a lot of struggling clubs. Also this MAY mean attendances will be limited to season ticket holders and even then some clubs may have to reduce the amount of season tickets they can sell. Of course this is only a draft report.

Our capacity is 12,300 so that is 2091 if it is 17%.

Will they allow iFollow in this country for home & away Saturday games? At least that way the club would be getting some money in if people can't attend.

Would our capacity increase with no away fans allowed?

I thought I should let fans know as you may well need to get a season ticket to watch rovers this coming season.

Would our capacity increase with no away fans allowed? Capacity including away fans is as pointed out above 12,300, there will be no away fans allowed.

Would our capacity increase with no away fans allowed? I suspect the the 17-33% of our overall stadium capacity that are allowed into the stadium would just be for home fans. I can't see away travel being encouraged/allowed while this limit is set.

I suspect he means without the need to include the segregation zones then the capacity could be higher. Only by a few hundred I'd have thought meaning maybe an additional 100 at most. Having said that, I thought 12,300 included that allowance and the real matchday capacity is lower anyway.

Our ground is also discretely split physically into separate areas which may also be separated themselves by stands, seats, tents, terraces, etc,? An advantage or a disadvantage to getting more people in? Will fans get ejected for coughing? Did Coughlan get dejected here?
Are we going to run rings round everyone? 2m diameter?

Would be interesting to see how they decide to split people up, especially ones that have already bought specific seats. I assume each stand would have a maximum capacity which may already have been exceeded with ST sales

More than a few clubs get with zero restrictions

So basically if you didn't buy a season ticket before they went off sale last Friday there's no guarantee you'll be watching Rovers live when the new season starts? Given no tickets will have been sold for the away end it may just be as easy to keep that closed and just open up the full south stand to home fans, as I'd imagine social distancing will be a nightmare to deal with on the terracing.

I have asked this exact question, and received this reply. iFollow will be available for all matches when we return and there will be the option to purchase a pass for home and away matches either collectively or individually. More information will be released on this once we have clarity on how many supporters will be allowed into stadiums once we return. Now until everything, is finally settled, I am supposing that this may change a bit, but we will all have to have a bit of patience, until all the details are finalised.
